Reader's P.O.V.
You arrive at the motel about an hour later. Will comes rushing out as soon as you walk into the parking lot and envolopes you in a embrace. "Where were you guys? And why weren't you answering your phone?" He sounds scared.
"I'm sorry. We went to the beach. We wanted to be alone. I didn't mean to worry you." You look into his eyes as you pull back. All you can see is the fear that you know he his trying to mask.
"Why did you guys go to the beach?"
"We... I just had to get away from everything. I'm sorry I worried you." Some of the fear seems to leave his eyes and he sighs.
"Come on. It's almost dark." He leaves one arm draped over your shoulders as he leads you inside. You can't imagine what must have been going through his mind, not knowing what had happened to us.
Sam smiles when you walk in, pulling you into a quick hug before walking over to Dean, saying something under his breath that you can't understand. Dean reponds by rolling his eyes and stalking off to the mini kitchen and grabbing a beer. Will flops down onto the couch, dragging you down with him, and wrapping a blanket around your shoulders to warm you up. You had to admitt, as the day was winding down, it was stating to get chilly. The big fuzzy blanket felt good.
"Why did you leave me there?" Will's whispering so that Dean and Sam can't hear, though, they're in the middle of their own conversation so you doubt that they're paying attention.
You respond with another whisper. "I didn't mean to leave you. Either of you. But I had to get away from things for alittle while. And Dean was there, and he said that he knew the perfect spot. I should've been thinking about you, and I'm sorry that I wasn't." You feel a prickle behind your eyes and swallow to keep the tears down.
"I know how much he means to you. I might not know why, but I know that he does. And I'll help you find him. But you can't push me away. I need you, and I know that you don't need me, not the way that I need you, but please, don't leave me."
"Will, I would never leave you. I need you more than you could ever know. I always have. I might not always show it, but I do. And I'll never leave. Not untill you ask me to." Just then you hear the slam of the motel door and stand up suddenly. Dean is leaning against it. Sam's nowhere in sight. You see a shadow walking through the parking lot a few secounds later. "Dean..."
"Sam went to pick up some supplies. He left us the car incase we wanted to get something to eat. 15 minutes. Get ready, and then we're going to dinner. If you're not ready, I'm leaving your sorry ass here." So, fifteen minutes later, you and Will made sure to be in the car, Dean was right behind you locking up the motel room before starting the car and driving off.
The three of you had decided to go to Crackle Barrel. The hostess takes you in and seat you at a booth in the corner. She hands you your menus and tells you that your waitress, Kaitlyn, would be right with you. Then she walks off, leaving the three of you alone. Something seems to be off about Dean, but if you had learned anything from you eight month stay with the Winchesters, when the oldest Winchester was upset, there was no way you were getting him to talk.
The waitress interupts your thoughts. "Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm gonna be your server this evening. Can i start you guys off with anything to drink?"
Dean sighs, looking at the menu before saying, "Coffee would be great."
"And root beer for me!" Will always loved root beer. You never understood his obsession. Though, you had to admit, it was pretty good.
