"Are you sure you know what you are doing, Willie?" Alex questions as he phases through the doors of a home. Unaware of what has been happening the past couple of days he has been absent in the life of Luke. With no collection of vision. Alex has been doomed to teleport to make it around the world. Until he encountered another ghost buddy. Who's name is Willie as he has spoken before.

"Yes! Mother has told me that we have unfinished business that we need to finish before we can finally be sent to rest." Willie spoke in joy as he jumped to his feet. Looking at a wall, not knowing it, Alex smiles. Willie rolls his eyes as he sits beside Alex. "But we... you need to find out what your unfinished business is..."

"Do you have ideas on what it could be..." Alex responded as he looked over at Willie, not knowing of course. Willie smiles as he nods. Of course, Willie has many thoughts. He has had Mother teach him the possibilities of his unfinished business. One could be a career choice or action that must happen. The second could be family trouble that hasn't been resolved. The last one is a relationship left cold after death.

"Not to intrude on your past relationship with family or lovers but how did they end?" Alex scratches the back of his neck as he frowns. His parents were torn of course by the death of him but they didn't have any serious conflicts before his death. They loved him to death and it still shows as he looks over at a wall. A sad smile is present on Willie's face as he spots the picture frame on the wall. It was Alex holding a boy closely. They look the same age as he took a closer inspection. Boyfriends?

"They ended well..."

Placing all his force on picking up the picture frame. He walks over to the sofa as he sits beside Alex. Placing the picture between them, he looks up at Alex. "What about him..."

"Him..." Alex moves his head to look in the direction of Willie's voice. Shock covered his face. Luke Patterson! His boyfriend. But wait... wasn't there also a boy who had the same name as him... Same voice... same laugh... same touch... Realization hit him smack on the face as Alex got up in a flash. "Willie! I- I need to get back to Loz Feliz! I left him alone!"

Willie nods as he grabs Alex's hand. Thinking of Alex's boyfriend. He smiles, there is something after this time. Closing his eyes, he is teleported out of the home as they are sent to the home of Luke. One that is quiet. Too quiet... Walking around the living room, Alex's feet directly took him to Luke's room. Smiling as he awaits for Luke to say his name. He stood still as he waited for his call. "He's not here. Nor Emily and Mitch, Alex!"

"Where could he be! Maybe at Reggie's?" Alex is desperate to find Luke. To tell him the news and to hold him close. But that is when a phone is heard from the kitchen. Willie walked over to find it to be Emily's phone. Turning it on. He found a message from Luke. Guilty for clicking on it. He found a paragraph of a farewell to Emily. Skimming through it, he spots the simple text. Lying next to my beloved... forever...

Before Willie could shout to Alex where he should go. He was alone as he spotted the sparks of Alex disappearing in front of him. Freaking out, Willie scents the phone down before teleporting himself out of the home to the school where he believes Luke is. On the contrary, Alex manages to find himself in the lands of the dead. Walking in a straight line, he tries to look for clues of Luke anywhere. That is when he heard the final lines of someone...

"We can finally be together..." Looking to his right. He ran as fast as he could. He didn't care if he got his shoes dirty, his hair messed up, or even his bandages loose. He didn't want to lose the only one he has in the world. Nearly tripping over the rocks, he finds himself getting closer to Luke's sobs as he can now hear them clearly.

"Luke!" Screaming at the top of his lungs, he slips on the soil, landing right in front of Luke. Not knowing where Luke was, he reached out to pull the boy closer to him. Not even knowing how close he was to losing him. Acting fast, he did the impossible. Bringing his dominant hand to his eye's bandages. He unraveled them, only to bring him into a world of light and colors. He has never had a reason to remove them until now.

Tossing the pocket knife away from Luke's hand. He brings the bandages to Luke's wrist. Alex's heart churns as he feels guilt. He left Luke, a boy with so many problems, alone. "Baby... can you hear me... please forgive me for leaving you..."

"Wanna know a secret?" Tightly securing the bandages on Luke's arm. He gazes his eyes into Lukes as a slight frown is located on his face. Luke opens his eyes barely to view the speaker speaking to him. Unaware of who it actually was. He didn't even know it was still alive or dead. He just knows that wants to be next to Alex forever. Continuing with his story. "I was on my way home to give you a ring at a restaurant. I made reservations for... but then I saw bright lights coming towards my motorcycle. I was like a deer in a car's headlights. Blinded by the lights, I couldn't escape in time. I died with the ring in my hands."

Before Luke could respond to Alex. A figure walking around the cemetery with the familiar red checkered shirt sparked a small smile on his face as he crooked out a little. "Reggie... help me..."

And it went cold for Luke.

It's been almost a month since anyone had seen or heard of him. Reggie hated himself for pushing Luke away for the past month. But what Bobby told Reggie made him feel like he's been a parasite on Luke. He needed to distance himself from Luke or else he'll lose Luke from too much clinginess.

For the past month, Reggie has been over at Luke's Mom home. Waiting for Luke to come back. Emily and Mitch are getting ready to announce that their son is missing but it's hard. Like when you're a parent. You want to be helpful towards your children, not want to push them away. Mama is wondering where she went wrong. Reggie tried to push those thoughts away from her but it's not helping when her son is missing.

Reggie's little circle of friends feels empty without Luke. Without his presence, it feels like Reggie's alone in the world. Without his best friend, what will he do?

Right now, he's just sitting down in Luke's empty bed. Clutching on a teddy bear that he won for Luke a year ago at a carnival.

"Where did I... I went wrong..." He whispers as he looks up at the ceiling to see darts stuck on the ceiling. He sighs before sitting up in bed and going downstairs to hear Mama and Mitch talking quietly in the living room. Slowly passing over to the front door. He makes his way back to his... his home. He looks over at the window to see the lights all off. Making his way inside, he turns on the first set of lights.

The layout of clothes tells him that his dad or mom isn't being truthful about this marriage. Reggie's heart is torn. He just wanted to live a fairy tale life with a great set of friends, a happy family, and a beautiful girlfriend? Boyfriend? He is still confused about what partner he wants to have when he's older. Walking towards the kitchen and sitting down. He ponders about life.

"Bye darling, my wife is coming soon so-" His dad stops in his tracks when he sees Reggie. "Son, I didn't know you were going to be back... soon."

"Just save it, dad! It would've been better if I never came back! I don't think you even want to hear the great news mom had planned for us! For you..." Reggie shouts as he storms past him to go to his room.

"I'm gonna go over to the cemetery, not that you cared..." Reggie found a note inside of a notebook from Luke's room. It said something about a boy, Alex Mercer, so he made a promise to plant new flowers at his grave, hoping Luke comes back.

Walking over to his room. He finds his bag that is carrying everything he needs for this little journey. Reggie hopes it's not raining. He hates riding in the rain. He checks for a twenty in his pocket before walking out the back door. He walks over to his bike before putting on his helmet.

"Reggie! Don't go!" He turns to look at the door to see his mother.

"Sorry, mom. You have a bigger problem with dad and I don't want to be here when that happens."

"Honey, no-" But it was too late, Reggie was starting to make his way around the backyard before leaving out the yard in a quick movement.

Riding in the dark is nice, no one can disturb you. No one is yelling at you. No one tells you what you have to do. No mom or dad. No one...

"Slow down..." A drone voice whispers in his ear. Reggie thought it was the wind until his bike slanted to the right and he tumbles with it. Rolling to the right of the road, he looks up at the main road to see nothing. He scratches his head before hearing a scraping noise, a truck is sliding down the road. He gets up to brush off some dirt that was stuck to his pants.

"Holy shit! Did I... did I..." Reggie had no words. Today was the day he was going to die but he just cheated death and lived for a couple more years.
