Chapter 3: Normally
Hours before
"It's nice seeing this side of you. I never you spoke so well." Izuku complimented. Mina gave a half-smile. "Oh um, I-i didn't mean to insult you or anything." He added. "No, it's fine. I promised myself that I wouldn't be all formal and that stuff but I guess what's done is done. It's the first time we've really talked so it was nice, I guess." She replied. "Yeah, maybe we can do this again sometime?" He offered. She shivered slightly, his warm smile reminding her of the past. "M-maybe... I'll think about it."
After
After Izuku walked Mina home it was about 5 pm. Mina was able to sleep but Izuku had an issue. He walked into his room to see Uraraka in his bed. "Where were you, Izuku?" She asked nonchalantly. "Out." He replied. "Since when do you go out at this ungodly hour?" She interrogated. Izuku rolled his eyes, "Why are you in my room?" She got up. "I came to snuggle and convince you to skip training for once but heck, you were gone." She answered, stretching from her ascendence. "Sorry. I woke up a bit early, okay?" He excused. "Where did you go?" She waited. "I went for coffee." He said, obviously annoyed. "With whom?"
"What makes you assume I was with someone?" He hesitated. "You don't just go get coffee by yourself. It's quite easy to deduce that you met someone downstairs and went to get a drink with them. So, who was it?" She cocked her hip and folded her arms. "Ochako, you're paranoid." Izuku chuckled. "Possibly."
Hours passed and everyone was at school. Izuku and Ochako put on their 'perfect couple' faces and went on as usual while Mina hung out with her girlfriends. Suddenly after school, Kirishima approached them. "Hey, Midoriya. Me and the boys are gonna go test some 1st years. I know you're busy but... Wanna come?" Izuku looked at Ochako as if he cared for her opinion. If you're wondering she gave him a blank expression. "Sure, let's go." Izuku accepted.
Training room
"Kirishima-senpai, I need help with a new move!" Said a 1st year. "Umm, Izuku can you handle that one?"
"Sure." Izuku walked over to the drastically shorter male student. "M-midoriya-senpai, that's for umm, sparing me your time." He stuttered. "Tell me about your quirk."
"Oh, right. It's called Drip. I can draw water from my sweat and use it to make anything I want." He explained. "Hmm. So if you can create anything I'm assuming it'd be a good multipurpose quirk in SnR situations. Also, you'd have to take into consideration your rate of sweat and mastery of how you use your water. Frankly the average human can never make enough sweat to..."
And so Izuku took Mina's advice and made himself more sociable and open to invitation. He was already very popular but now he's quickly becoming the school's honour boy. While Izuku conversed with other students, Mina and her friends sat for lunch.
"Hey, Mina. Your grades are getting better. I'm impressed." Momo commented. "Thanks! I studied really hard y'know!" She beamed. As a matter of fact she had no need for studying. She knew most of the information from darker days. "So y'all coming to that party Miruko's throwing? I heard some good looking sidekicks will be there." Jiro mentioned.
"Ribbit, I might come, ribbit." Croaked Tsuyu. "Same." Hagakure said. "Me too!" Mina squealed instinctively. She immediately scolded herself and panicked at the predicament. This always happened. She'd impulsively answer yes to a social event and automatically feel entitled to show up.
"Great..."
