"So where is it?" the man questioned in a stern voice.

Tanaka Ryunosuke, head of the mafia was known not to be messed with. He was wearing a black suit and tie, along with black gloves to conceal the injuries on his hands. He, accompanied by his consignee Nishinoya Yuu, was in the midst of obtaining a generous sum of money they've earned from another mafia boss, even though the other man wasn't present for the transaction.

They chose to meet in a tranquil and isolated area, and after a few minutes or so of waiting he began to get antsy, wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible. Noya kept an eye out for them with his pistol discreetly drawn at his side the other man hesitantly yet speedily brought out the briefcase, which was filled to the brim with cash. His eyes lit up at the sight and a small grin was visible on his face before the briefcase was shut and handed over to him.

Meanwhile, Kiyoko was already stationed at one of the building's rooftops, quietly trying to find a spot that would be the easiest for her to get set up. The ravenette eventually picked a spot off to the side of the building.

"Well then it looks like we're done here," Tanaka stated as he turned to walk back to his car where one of his men was waiting with the passenger side door ajar. But as he began to advance towards the vehicle; Nishinoya caught a glimpse of a dark silhouette perched atop one of the buildings nearby and swiftly took Tanaka's arm. "We've been spotted," the shorter male whispered to his boss as he rushed him to safety, seeing his clearly agitated expression. The woman quietly cursed herself once she realized she had been spotted, then carefully aiming while she had the chance; firing off two shots. The first missed while the second one grazed the boss's arm. He then pulled him beneath one of the overhanging of the buildings next to them.

Kiyoko quickly pulled away from her scope before examining the scene below her and the top of the building; looking for an escape. She quickly bagged her materials as she thought of an escape route.

I could always go inside and leave out the front in the mix of the crowds. No no there's no way I'd get through security with all of this... I could go back the way I came but that's the only alley that leads to the main road so there's a higher chance that that's where they're going to go. There should be a fire escape on the other side, I'll get down that way.

She threw the rifle over her back and slid a few feet away from the edge before standing up and quietly sprinting to the side of the building. She spotted the fire escape, climbing down the side of it as quietly as possible, the only noise being the squeaking of the rusty stairs and latter; which weren't too loud surprisingly.

The bald male examined his arm once the pain finally sunk in, the cloth of his suit and the shirt beneath it were both split open and slowly grew moist with blood, which eventually streamed out and ran down the inside of the sleeve, dripping from his wrist onto the ground. He then shot his gaze back over to the shorter male. "who the hell was that?!," he shouted in distress. "Did you at least see his face?!" he questioned again which only lead to shaking heads from the men around him. Tanaka then drew his own gun from his belt and stormed out from underneath the overhang, Noya tailing close behind as they began hunting down the man that fired at them. By this time Kiyoko was already making her way down the alleyway which only lead to several more pathways, and upon hearing the men's footsteps behind her she decided to sprint ahead then took a quick turn to the back of another building before she was spotted- but yet again she was out of luck. The two men behind her caught a small glimpse of her.

Tanaka laughed in an angry manner before peaking around the corner, seeing the woman had gotten herself in a dead-end. He instantly stepped back around the corner, "drop the gun! we've got you cornered, there's no way out for you!" he shouted in her direction.

"Or what?" she questioned in a flat tone, and this alone caught her pursuers off guard. They immediately shot each other confused looks. "It was a woman.." the shorter male murmured to himself.

His curiosity was his biggest weakness-- because he then decided to glance around the corner to see what she looked like.

As soon as he stepped to the side of the corner to get a look at her he felt a sharp pain in his foot- she had shot him. Tanaka immediately turned his attention to his now injured assistant, who was crouched down and clutching his foot. "how the hell did she.." he muttered to himself before shifting his gaze back to the woman, still unable to get a clear view of her face before shouting once again, "who the hell are you?! who do you work for?!"

His anger only grew when he got no response, and at one point he genuinely debated on leaving her be, but he knew that if he did and she /was/ a professional assassin that she'd just come back again, and again, and again until she properly completed her mission.

He was too lost in thought to hear her response, vaguely making out a...

"..but who knows.. it could've been someone you wronged in the past, someone that feels intimidated by you, or simply someone who feels like you're in their way. I don't really care about the details, it's just easier that way too so  personal feelings don't get in the way."

The man cursed under his breath once she was finished speaking, deciding to make a risky move.

He quickly stepped around the corner with his gun drawn. And to his disappointment, he still couldn't see her face clearly, but to his surprise, her gun was no longer drawn. "Now hands up!" He proceeded to call out as he now had a malicious grin on his face, and started slowly advancing forward aiming at the smaller figure only a few yards ahead of him. She kept a deadpan expression as she locked eyes with the man in front of her.

Tanaka saw that the girl still hadn't thrown her hands up, and in response, he cocked his gun. "I said.. hands up! Now!" He kept taking small steps in her direction as the shimmering light of the moon eventually made her face slightly visible. The man behind Tanaka, who was still in distress, managed to get back on his feet and grab hold of his gun, not aiming it yet, but keeping a close eye on the both of them. The boss's expression quickly turned back into a frown as he was now only about a couple of feet away from her,

and she still hadn't obeyed his orders.
