"We're gonna be best friends!" - Vanguard AU

- Chapter Twelve -

After a while of playing video games, it was finally time for Rosie's night watch.

"Vanny, c'mon!" Rosie called, standing out by her car. "I'm gonna get my ass fired even quicker if you don't hurry up!" 

"I'm comiiiing!" A faint voice yelled from inside the house. Vanny ran out onto the porch. "Look!! I'm in my creepy Pizza Plex exploring uniform!"

It was one of Rosie's old sweaters, which was a pastel purple with a single white stripe. 

Rosie smiled, and laughed softly. "You look great, Vanny." She assured Vanny, smiling.

"Yaaaay!!" Vanny exclaimed, and hopped down the stairs, and ran over to the car. "Okie-dokie! Now, let's go!!"

"Yeah, that was the plan." Rosie chuckled, and got into the driver's seat, and Vanny got into the passenger's. 

They both buckled in, and then, they were finally ready. "Alright, you ready?" Rosie asked, turning towards Vanny. "Once we leave, there's absolutely no turning back."

"Yeah, I'm ready! I know how to deal with spooky night guard jobs!!" Vanny exclaimed, fist pumping. "I'm so ready!!" 

"Alright, then!" Rosie and Vanny smiled at each other. "Well, let's fuckin' get going!"

Once the girls finally got to the Pizza Plex, the sun was completely gone, the only light coming from the moon and the stars. "Waaah!! I never realized how dark it was!" Vanny complained, clinging onto Rosie's arm.

"Yeah, it's weird as shit." She pulled out her flashlight, and turned it on. "Lucky for yooou, I come prepared." Vanny smiled, and laughed.

"You're so dependable, Rosie Rose!! I love that about you!" Vanny exclaimed, and smiled up at Rosie.

"Well, someone has to be prepared for you.. I swear, you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached to you." Rosie ruffled Vanny's hair, smiling. "Lucky for you, I don't mind being there to help you out."

"Stop, you're so cheesyyy!!" Vanny squealed, blushing. "Okay, okay! Let's go, let's go." Vanny began dragging Rosie through the parking lot, up to the entrance to the Pizza Plex.

Vanny grabbed onto the sparkly door handles, and shook them all around. "ROSIEEE!! They've locked me out!!"

"They didn't lock you specifically out, they want to keep grimy little kids out in case they run away from home to see Glamrock Freddy, orrr.. Something. Actually, they probably started locking the doors because of that freaky child murderer that went around old Fazbear locations." Rosie laughed, and fished her keys out of her bag.

"Ohh.. Okay! Now, can you unlock the doooors??" Vanny asked, smiling happily.

"I'm working on it.." Rosie complained, and yanked her keys out of the lock. "And, here." A keypad was next to the door, needing a four-number code. "We added this for extra security!"

Rosie typed in the code, and the doors were finally unlocked. "WOOOOAH!! You're so cool, Rosie! Now, let's go explore!!" Vanny shoved the doors open, and ran through them, Rosie trailing after.

They walked through the dim halls, the only source of light being Rosie's flashlight. "Oooh, it's so creepy! Glamrock Freddy's statue looks like a big, spooky figure!"

"Watch out, Van. He might start moving if you aren't careful!" Rosie laughed, ruffling Vanny's hair.

"You say that like it's a joke, but what if it actually happeeeens??" Vanny wailed, and giggled. "Just kidding! Statues could never come to life."

"Well, no duh." Rosie tossed her flashlight from hand to hand. "Now, c'mon! The Pizza Plex won't explore itself."
