Ada fell back onto the fluffy bed she was granted. Her thoughts started to run wild. She remembers how her friends used to have options for everything while she didn't have a thing. It bothered her that though she was a hard worker and a smart person she still can't achieve heights other kids do just with the help of their parents. She can work as hard as she wants but still she won't be able to make a name for herself as she needs to keep spoon feeding her mother. She wishes it was the other way around. Even if she can work all the way to excellency her mother won't allow her to go anywhere and do anything she wants. She is bound to be a slave for her mother if she doesn't go to school forever. She decides to leave home for her higher education and sets her goal to help her mom to overcome her alcohol addiction and turn her into her old self before her biological father passed away. She thinks of those times where her mother used to be a batista, full of passion and hard work. She drifts back to sleep with determination and a positive mindset for her future which is bound to take a huge turn she can't even imagine.
