Ada reached the school on time thanks to Leo. She was still scared if she might not pick up the subjects and their syllabus because even though she learnt by her own on library she didn't know if that would be enough for her to survive high school. She wanted to score more so she can take in scholarships and hopefully move out of her unofficial bondage and slavery with her own mother.
The first subject was English as their class teacher was from that department and to help Ada adopt to her new environment her classroom teacher was assigned to smoothen things out in the beginning itself. Ada sat in the middle seats as she felt it will be a better choice to not get picked on the questions or during any other events.
A tall pale lean man in his late 30s wearing steel rimmed spectacles entered the room with two books and a marker. Ada immediately knew he was their teacher by the looks of it. He carefully placed his materials on the table provided and introduced Ada to her classmates. Ada slowly realised that all the murmurs she heard was from students discussing about her. The thought of people doing this to her made her really anxious about going to speak about herself in front of the class. She swallowed her fear and stood up.
