It's been a month since the Devil and Lucio had been banished. And after that, I was invited by Nadia all the time in the palace. Giving me everything I want for just saving Vesuvia.

I already told her not to give me anything because it's my job to save everyone. And of course, I'm still in the palace being treated like a princess by Nadia.

It's not bad I know but everytime I went to sleep, I'll always have these dreams. I can't tell anyone specially Asra not until I got my answer on why I keep having these weird dreams.

"I've always known you."

"Come, have fun with me."

"I'm what they call the Devil. Haha- I'm just joking."

All of my dream had been those sentences. Specially the Devil part.  It's always those words. Words I thought I would never hear again. Why is the devil a part of this? I want- no, I NEED answers.

~•••••~

A smile in the darkness. That's all I saw then clear knocks can be heard from somewhere. I'm engulfed in darkness. I can't see. A huge grin. Teeth are white as pearl.  Knocks turned into banging.

I woke myself gasping for air as I sit up and felt cold sweat and shivers down my spine. Knocks can be heard from my door. It then opened revealing the 5'1 red headed, Portia.

"(Y/N), you alright? You looked like you've seen a ghost. Is there a ghost in your room? Did the goat came to haunt you again?" She asked. I just shake my head. "No, I'm fine, I just didn't sleep well last night." I replied.

It made Portia look at me with pure worry. "But I'm fine, I promise." I said before she could even worry more about me.

"The Countess wanted to see you." She said. I just nod before taking a hold of my traveling cloak on the edge of the bed. "I'll be there." I replied, she immediately close the door. With a little call for Pepi, the footsteps died down and silence filled the room.

The silence seems to die when sudden ringing can be heard from everywhere. An ache reach to my head. The ringing made it so worse. I manage to stand up, worse idea. I ended up pushing the glass pitcher on my bedstand to the ground, resulting a loud crash while glass shards was evenly spread out.

I landed on my bed, just in time for the door to bust open. "(Y/N)?!" Yelled by my known master of magic, Asra. The ringing died down same with the headache.

My breath hitched a bit before it calmed down. I look at Asra, who's now holding both my hands. "I-im fine." I said. "No, you're not." He replied.

"What happened?" He asked. "It's just a headache, Asra. And I'm fine." I replied. He nodded. "You know, I can just say to Nadia that you're sic-"

"Asra, I'm fine. I promise," I interrupted him. "And beside, Nadia decided to be my doctor mom. Giving me everything and anything just so I could relax from the fight. The only thing I need to do is attend and say yes to everything."

"Well, you know her." Asra said before giving me a worried face. "I'll be fine, I promise. I'll call you if something happened." I smiled at him. He sighed before nodding. "Muriel is coming here later, he said." He smiled.

"Alright, alright." I smiled back before letting my magic softly push Asra out of my room. The door slammed shut as I completely changed my clothes into one of Nadia's 'I let every designer sewed it for you' dress.

To be honest, the clothing was surprisingly soft at touch. Like you just touched a very fluffy dog or a million cotton. I sighed at the dress, it fit perfectly as expected. I stared down at the ground, the glass shards are everywhere. I just shrug it off before walking out the room.

Asra waiting on the other side of the door. Just leaning to the wall and it even looked like that he's sleeping.  "You better wake up or I'm leaving you here." I said. He slowly glance up to me. "Hi." He said with a yawn. Before hearing another yawn from his shirt.

Something slithered inside his shirt. I already know who it is. "C'mon. I can't keep Nadia waiting. And let Faust sleep. I remember her staying up all night, watching me." I said which shocked Asra.

I just giggled and started gliding on the marble floor, sensing my power from everywhere I ran past. "(Y/N)! Wait up!" I heard a distance yell from Asra before footsteps started running after me.

The kitchen, the ballroom, the dining area and at last I arrived at the salon. I opened the door, getting greeted by Julian, Nadia and Portia. I waved at Asra on the end of the hallway and went in the room.

"Ah, (Y/N), I bet you beat Asra on a race again, huh?" Julian chuckled. I just giggled before almost getting thrown by Asra busting the door open. Good thing that I found my balance immediately and dodge the door.

Asra, Portia and Nadia were shocked while Julian just laughed. "Another reason why you shouldn't stand near doors." He laughed. "Or another reason why I want to kill you with a door." I glared at Julian.

Everyone was still shocked as ever   while me and Julian just glared at each other before bursting out laughing. Asra and Nadia were confused while Portia was hiding her laughter.

"And another reason why you two shouldn't be in the same room together." Portia pointed it out before laughing with us. I just laughed more, slowing dying on the floor from laughing. Julian was already laying on the sofa, laughing like someone just turned into a animal and was now screaming profanities.

The laughter died down when the door opened again, revealing the 6'10 introverted guy. Looking confused at the scene. Me, laying on the ground. Julian, laying on the sofa like he was just sleeping and Portia, who's as red as her hair, hiding a giggle.

"Hey Muriel." I breathed out before slowly standing from the floor. Breathing heavily from laughing so hard. "What happened?" He mutters, but loudly enough for all of us to hear.

"Oh nothing, just a few laughs that me and (Y/N) shared." Julian said before straighting from his seat. I eventually sat down far away from Julian, or let's just say, in front of Julian.

Asra just shaked his head before sitting beside Julian and Muriel decided to sit beside me. "Okay, so now that everyone is here. Are all of you alright of doing this stuff?" Nadia reassured everyone, looking mainly at their eyes.

"Nadi. Julian, Muriel and me can handle it." Asra said, nodding his head before nudging Julian's side. Julian immediately smiled and nod. "We'll be fine." He said.

Eyes were now at Muriel beside me. He quietly sighed, "Yeah, whatever." He said before his stoic face kicked in again. I just smiled at him, accepting the work. I saw him glance at me and smiled back a bit before steadying his face again.

I looked at the table in front of us before hearing what seems like teacups clanking to each other. Teacups? We're definitely not having tea right now. I said to myself before my mind got clogged in gray smoke.

The gray turned red to green to orange to purple then black.

"(Y/N)?"

"(Y/N)?"

"(Y/N)!!"

I gasped loudly, waking myself up into reality. My eyes got blurry by the sudden. "Are you alright?" Someone called. It's Asra. My sight got cleared only to see the fluffy white hair. "Asra?" I manage to call out before everything went darker again.
