"Lucio? Why are we in Lazaret?" I asked as Lucio stopped rowing to the island. "This is the only thing, you can do to speak with him." He said before getting out the boat.
I jumped out of the boat as well before going further the island. The scent of fire and earthly ashes were everywhere. I didn't remember smelling this. I thought as Lucio stopped walking. Making me dump into him.
"Why did you stop?" I asked, looking at him. "You need to do it alone. I'll wait here." He said before walking to a burnt tree and leaning his back to it as he pointed at the tower.
I stood there, just eyeing him if he's telling the truth. He notice my stares and rolled his eyes. "I don't have all the time in the world,
(Y/N). If you want to speak to the Devil then go. Even so, those guys are waiting for us at the docks if I got back there and you're not with me, they'll kill me." He said.Well, okay then. I thought before walking towards the tower. I got my answer so off I go, I guess?.
After walking what seemed like a yard, I finally got to the base of the tower. Its broken door, leaning against it's wall then all os sudden. It gave out, the door almost hitting my feet. Door - 37.50 Me - 9.50- that should be added to my list of things. What am I even doing?
I sighed, shaking my head before walking in the broken structure. It's still the same, everything is still the same. Until I got heavy chills from my back. The feeling of exhaustion crawled into my body. As yet again, I collapsed to the ground.
I woke upon the Devil's realm. Where he's there sitting on his throne. Half stone, half him. Looks like he's slightly free. But not free enough to roam or walk.
"(Y/N), I've been expecting you." He said. His tone has a bit of worry and fright to it. "I'm hoping for you to give me answers." I said. Which he nodded in return. "Ask away." He said.
"Well firstly, what is happening to Asra? He said he cannot go in the Arcana Realm, as well as his gate." I asked. "Something is happening out here in this realm. And that's for you to know it." He said. I just nodded, knowing he won't give me more than that.
"Did I actually lived for centuries?" I asked. The Devil paused a bit before avoiding my eye contact. "I cannot fully answer that question but a spirit can possess people, more so a demon." He said. What does that mean?..
"One more question until I send you off, our time is ticking and I can't bare anymore power to kept you in this realm." He said. I nodded quickly.
"Why now? Why am I getting my memories back when everything is done?"
"That's for me to forget and for you to know and remember." He said before smoke started surrounding my vision. "Wait! What do you mean forget?! DEVIL!!" I yelled but when my vision got cleared, it was the same broken ruins.
"Great... What does it even mean?" I muttered to myself before walking out the tower. I started walking back to see Lucio, still leaning on the tree. "You're back. I've been waiting for 5 minutes. How are you so fast at speaking with that goat?" He said.
I sighed. "Let's just go." I said, walking to the shore with Lucio behind me.
We finally got to the docks to see everyone waiting there. And I guess Mazelinka joined them since I can see bowls in their hands. I got pulled out of the boat by Muriel and land me to the wooden path.
"Did you got your answers?" Asra questioned. "Something is happening in the Arcana realm that's why, you can't go in there specially in your gate." I replied to Asra. "What is it?" He asked again. I just shook my head.
"Let's walk back to the Palace so we can have a cozy place to sit and talk." Nadia said. I nodded. "Something is bothering you, huh?" Julian and Portia called, both walking beside me.
"I just can't understand what does he mean about... Nevermind, I'll talk to it later on." I said, sighing before speed walking to Nadia's side. Nadia seemed to notice my uncomfortableness and stayed quiet.
Once we're at the salon, silence filled the air. Eyes were now onto me. Thinking back to every answer, the Devil made. It still doesn't make any sense. For him to forget and for me to know and remember.. Does he mean forgetting about the past to make me remember? Or for him to forget about it so I COULD remember.
I sighed, What is happening in the Arcana realm that I must know of? I don't even know... What am I?.. He said something about a spirit can possess anything, more so a demon. So what am I? A spirit or a demon?
I just shook my head from it before sighing again. "(Y/N)?" I heard someone. I looked up from the floor to notice everyone was sitting in front of me. "This looks like I'm a grandma about to tell stories to her grandchildren." I chuckled a bit.
They chuckled as well except for Muriel, who just hidden a smile. I smiled at him before straighting my sit. "Okay, so-"
After I told everything, well not the Spirit and Demon part. I was then grilled by questions. I just stayed quiet, thinking about all of it. I sighed yet again before running out the door to my guest bedroom.
I locked the door, the same time someone knocked on my window. I opened it to see Malak, Chandra and Faust. I closed the window once everyone got in. Faust was the first one to got to my shoulder squeezing my arm for comfort.
I sat down my bed only to see Chandra sitting beside me and then Malak decided to sit on my other shoulder. Scratching it from time to time. Maybe a sign of giving you comfort or asking if I'm okay.
I looked down to the floor, only for Faust to squeeze my arm tighter. "Sad." She said. "Uncomfortable!" Another one said before squeaking like a parrot. "Camio? How long have you been in my room?" I asked. "I don't know." He said. "Nevermind." I said.
"I'm going to bed." I said before Faust and Malak climbed down my shoulder. I laid down my bed. Chandra was looking at me before nipping my cheek. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I'll be alright." I said before feeling a weight on my stomach. I looked down and saw Malak and Faust curled into each other.
Camio finally came down to what seemed like a small hole and joined the sleeping two. I gave Chandra a chin-rub before clicking my thumb and middle finger to kill the lights. Including the lit-up candle on the nightstand.
I closed my eyes, just as the same time. The moon's light past through my window, giving my room a little bit of light.
