So Close Yet So Far! Ch. 10

Everyone in class was seated and class was about to begin when the classroom door unexpectedly yanked open and a student came in.

Ohh shit it was Taehyung!!

...

Just as you were about appreciate having no more classes with him, he appeared!

The seats were organized in pairs of two. You sat near the back next to a window and Mia sat in the seat next to you, but you realized the seat behind her was still empty. From the corner of your eye you saw Taehyung approaching you! Oh no was he going to sit there?? There were plenty of empty seats on the other side of the room but knowing better he was probably going to sit right behind Mia. Yet why...why would he do such a thing to you?? To make you feel more of the fool you already knew you were?? You prayed he wouldn't, you couldn't stand having him near you. Of course, just before you knew it he sat right there, right behind Mia which also means right behind you. Just when you thought your day was getting better.

Once again you felt his eyes gazed at you. You tried to cover your face with your right hand so that he could maybe get the hint that you really didn't want him staring at you.

Mia noticed your actions. "Hey everything alright y/n? Do you feel sick?"

You didn't want Taehyung to notice that maybe you were upset so you removed your hand and gave Mia the brightest smile you could "Yes, I'm fine Mia! Thank you"

"Okay everyone here is your homework for tonight! Don't complain! its nothing compared to what you'll get later this year so do it because it's an easy grade!" Mr. Johnson said as he handed out papers.

The guy in front of you handed you the papers (aka the homework) you took one and gave another to Mia. You were about to turn around to pass the papers to the people behind you when you remember Taehyung was there. You couldn't stand the thought of looking at him so you quickly turned around and asked Mia if she could pass them instead. She looked at you with a confused look but still agreed to do it.

"Yea.. sure.." Mia took the papers quickly from your hands and turned around to hand the papers over to Taehyung who was sitting behind her. "Here you go". Taehyung didn't notice Mia as he was lost looking at you. "Taehyung- hello? You there??" Mia waved the papers in his face.

"Oh shit! Thank you Mia." He quickly took the papers and Mia turned back around.

"Oh my god y/n!" Mia whispered to you.

"What! What happed?" You questioned with curiosity.

"Taehyung was totally staring at you!! Almost like he was put in a trance by you!!" Mia said with excitement.

"Ohh really, you think so?"

"Oh I know so! That boy definitely has something for you, his eyes said it all!"

"Really.." Your heart began to race a little when you heard that.

"Yes, he was looking at you the way every girl wishes to be looked at one day."

You didn't know what to say. It's as if nothing made any sense. Did he really have feeling for you? But how come he has a girlfriend? Was this just part of his tricks? Or was is real? You didn't know what to think anymore but you did know that he had broken your heart and unless he had a good explanation you were not going to believe him. But what explanation could be good enough...none so you refused to let him into your life again even if it means you would have to switch out of every class you have with him and avoid any contact with him for the rest of the year!
