Madness in Love

Part 2

She woke up late next morning to a painful headache..

She has taken sleeping pills to help herself to sleep.. It could be because of them.. But she didn't have anyother choice than taking her.. She knew she won't get any sleep last night and she don't wanted to be awake all night torturing herself with the thoughts of Laksh and his family..

Ragini gets up from her bed holding her head and goes to freshen up..

After about half an hour she comes out..

She was constantly cursing her headache.. She was not really in mood to dress up.. So she took some warm clothes and a shawl..

It was a holiday due to cold weather conditions.. most of roads are blocked and to heavy snowfall.. People mostly prefer to stay at home rather than going out.. so she doesn't have any work in office today..

She thought what she can do at home other than dealing with her headache..

She goes down where her family is already present..

"Ragini what happened" she looked at her worried as Ragini comes and sits on sofa..

"Mom my head is paining.." Ragini says in a painful voice..

"Why" her mother Janki asked..

"Didi she was standing in cold outside and she has also taken sleeping pills last night.." Her masi told Janki was now looked angry..

"Ragini, How many times have I told you to stop taking those pills!!" Her mother yelled at her..

"Mom" Ragini says in pain "Please don't scold me right now.."

"Didi scold her afterwords.. Give her some medicines first.." Her masi says..

"But there are no medicines at house right now.. I've told Mukta to bring Medicines.." Janki says to Ragini's horror..

"What!! What will I do till then?"

"Don't worry I'll you some kadha.. It will heal you in no time" Her masi says..

"Come I'll also help you.." Her mother and goes to help her masi..

"Hmm

"I don't know."

"Ragini apni soch ka daira badhao.. Achcha socho.. Jhooth mat bolo.. Aur bade bhai se tamij se pesh aaya karo.. uske saare saaman se dor raho.. Phir sar dard nahi hoga.." Ansh said..

"Phir haal to bas sar dard badh raha hai aur ye kaunga love premi apno ye gyan de raha hai!!" she asked angrily holding her head..

"Achcha he hai.. Atleast ek din to hamara nahi khaogi" Vansh says..

"Ragini don't shout.. It will increase your headache more" Janki says..

Vansh lets out a teasing laugh..

"Ugh"

Ragini growls angrily and sits puffing her cheeks..

Vansh sighs and gets up from the sofa and goes behind Ragini and massages her head..

"Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai.." Ragini says..

"Stop whining.. Just relax okay.." Vansh massages her head..

Ragini feels touched..

When someone do something so sweet for you, it feels good..

Just then Janki comes back with the kadha.. "Ragini take this "

"This better work" she gulped down the famous home made pain relive tea or kadha - without any sugar and milk.. only warm water and tons of herbs - of her grandmother down her throat...

She hopes she'll be better in sometime..

"Go and take rest" Her mother says..

"Okay" Ragini says and goes back to her room..

"what worse could be than having to deal with your head ache on your holiday.. On top of that my mom and aunt has strictly warned me about taking medicines.." Ragini thought to herself..

She again dozed off to sleep and wakes up after four hours.. Thankfully her headache vanished..

(My head is also paining since morning.. When will this go away?)

She sighed in relief.. and was playing with her hairs..

*Beep Beep*

She picked up her ringing mobile..

"Hello Meera.."

"Hello Ragini"

"How is your brother today?" Ragini asked..

"He is fine.. His fever is down.. He is jumping all around the house like an animal" Ragini rolls her eyes at her friend's response..

"Just like his sister" Ragini mutters which her friend seems to hear..

"What was that" Meera asked angrily..

Ragini's eyes widened "Nothing.. nothing.. You say.. what were you saying"

Her friend decides to ignore the matter for now and continues "wo I wanted to ask if you can come to meet today"

"Why?" Ragini asked..

"Offo.. You see the weather outside.. Probably we'll be stuck in our houses for at least one or two months.. Lets go to some malls before that.."

"Okay.. As it is I don't have anything to do"

"I'll come to pick you up in an hour" Her friend replies..

*beep beep beep*

Ragini keeps the phone aside and decides to sleep for 30 more minutes..

She gets up and quickly gets ready in warm clothes..

Her friend comes and they both goes to the mall..

They were shopping for almost an hour and decides to go to canteen when Ragini felt something hit on her head.. She touched her hairs and felt something soft and sticky.. Her facial expressions turned into disgust.. Someone threw cake at her..
