Chapter 2: wait what-

It's been 4 days after I turned 16. Still no mark, at least so I thought. I woke up and did my normal things, but something weird happened. I was just about to brush my teeth when I saw something on my forehead. It was tiny! But it looked like a mark. "Seriously? On my FOREHEAD? Out of allll the places. My. Forehead. Great." There was no way for me to hide it, and what would I say to my friends? I told the whole class my mark was literally Marino. A friend. I never heard of someone called: MARINO. Who the hell would name the child, MARINO. Not me.

Anyways, they would all know I'm lying even though I can't even see the mark clearly myself. Then my mum came in. "Sweetie, your late again! Hurry up, and you didn't even tell us your soulmate!"
I opened the bathroom door with an upset face and looked at my mum. She gasped, "how couldn't I realise that before! It looks like... a stick? With a paw?"
"CAT NOIR?!" I screamed. 'Oh shoot... I said that out loud... help me' I thought.
"Like the superhero? TOM!! OUR DAUGHTER'S SOULMATE IS A CAT!"
"Mum no!!"
"MUM YES!" My mum shouted back at me.
"COMING SWEETIES!"
'Shoot shoot shoot!! I need to escape... now!!' I sprinted out of my room and towards my school, I wanted to cry but no, I couldn't. When I arrived, I turned around to see my parents screaming "OUR DAUGHTER WILL DATE A SUPERHERO!" and pointing at me. Luckily Alya wasn't there, she was in class waiting for me, probably everyone was while I was here, tears in my eyes, covering my mark. Everyone started staring, whispering to each other and even taking pictures of me. I was absolutely humiliated.
