I love this ship so much!
This is probably the only ship that the fans like in Aho Girl. Yoshiko (the main character) is an idiot, and even though she has a canon crush on Akuru, he hates her, and is only "friends" with her because her mother told him to be. The disciplinary head is also in love with him, but he thinks of her as a pervert.
Akuru is normally cold to others, but less so to Sayaka Sumino (check the GIF). He has a canon crush on her, as when the two love idiots fight for him, he wonders if he should date Sayaka. In Tenshi Girl, he says that he would like to marry her.
Sayaka is a sweet girl, and she is extremely nice to people. She is the only normal person in the series, and by far the best girl. At the end of Tenshi Girl, she does state that she likes him back. Akuru is only nice (ish) to her (come on, he's Akuru, he's not a friendly person), so I think that their personalities match up nicely. Akuru seems to genuinely care about her, as he tells her to take care of herself first, then others. Sayaka could make him nicer (I don't really want him to be nicer, but he could be nicer to her), and teach him how to be helpful like she is. Akuru would teach her to be more assertive (as she is forced to go with Yoshiko's every decision, she's too nice to refuse). I love this ship a lot, and it's probably one of my OTPs.
