Forbidden Sweets

Chapter 2

Lelia went back to what she was previously doing.

"LELIA??!!" Came a voice. It was Gabby her number one customer.

"Lelia! Please tell me that brute didn't hurt you?" She asked, curiously.

"No, he didn't." Lelia responded.

"Someone needs to teach that monster a lesson!"

"Yeah, I agree!"

Gabby took a breath in and let it out. "Oh, dear! I am sorry! I didn't-"

"No, you're fine. The treat bags are inside, let me go get them for you."

"Don't worry, I'll get them another time. I just wanted to check on you. Anyways, it's getting late, I must be on my way. Bye!"

"Bye!" Lelia replied, surprised.

Lelia had some day. She put everything back and closed the door. She sighed. 'I have to wait and see what tomorrow brings,' she thought to herself.

A week had went by since the encountered with Goku Black. She knew he hadn't forgot about her.

Yesterday, she heard from a client that another business had fallen from his demolition. The person who owned it wasn't lucky for they lost their life in the process.

In the distance, at that time, you could hear the sound of one more falling building collapsing to the ground. Black was a evil villain that needed to be stop! Some had tried, but with a sudden flash from his hand, their life was turned into nothingness. People would run when they would see this monster!

Black glanced around at his artwork he had created. The intonation and smell of death from the destruction pleased him.

"I observe at this so called existence. It's heart breaking and sickening to see a beautiful world so scarred at first glance. However, the purge is necessary. My cosmic utopia is at hand! To shape this into the beautiful utopia it was always meant to be, the mistake from human scum must be corrected. I can see a bright shiny future here once it's finally free of mortals who define it.The world would be a better place without you insignificant mortals! "

His vicious grinned soon vanished when the thought of her came to him. The woman who stood up against him. Yes, there was other women and men who oppose him. BUT HER! There was something different about that woman! He couldn't figure it out. Time would reveal the truth. The next meet we have, that woman will not be fortuitous under his powerful wrath. It will be her last stance towards him! Black thought as he landed to go inside to make him some tea.

Lelia went through all her books, in search to see if she could find anything, any clues from her ancestors. She hope maybe they had came across such a vile being. Sadly, no- nothing in her findings. She slammed the book in her hands. Lelia left home and went towards her treat stand.

Lelia walked in and out of town. Driving a car through all this mess would be impossible.

The reason she did this, was to help the folks that could not yet make it out. Some of them was hurt and needed to lay low for a bit.

There was a gang who was taking people to a safely part of the world. Others had said the gang had been to other planets. Sometimes they was gone for months at a time. She didn't know how they always had plenty of materials, fuel and etc. This gang was called, "Hope." All Lelia was able to do was provide the food when they would stop by.

As she stepped onto where her small shop was at. She noticed that a shop near by had subsided. She peeked into the cracked windows. No one was inside. That was good news. The old man had always talked like he was going to leave this place and since the gang, Hope left a couple days ago. She bet he went with them. Lelia shook her head. She had something to do. Few of the folks that was still here would soon be coming by.

The night sky presented itself.

Lelia shut the door on her shop. It had been a long day. She began to walk home. The place she lived in wasn't nothing big, or fancy; just a two room shack. It had a bed and a small bathroom. It was shocking to know that it still had running water. But then again she was close to the main water supply, which was unharmed by Black.

All of her thoughts was on something else. When suddenly something grabbed her arm.

"HEY!" She called out.

Then, she took a closer examination. It was Black.

"Come with me, you fatuous human," he said and off they was in the air. To where she had no idea.
