Two days had flashed by, and it was the day before Soo-won's crowning. The two of you had coincidentally met and now were on a quiet walk. There was a silence around the both of you and this time it was awkward.
The two of you hadn't had a proper conversaition in days, and it didn't seem like that would change. Yet soo-won was successfully moving forward with his plan.
"Lord Soo-won!" Kye-sook emerged from the shadows startling both the siblings, the two of you turned around to see what Kye-sook had to offer.
"What is it, Advisor Kye-Sook?" The said man glanced at you, offering you a small smile before he began speaking.
"It seems the second son of the fire tribes leader, Lord Kan Tae-Jun wishes to speak to you."
Heading towards the man, that you've only met once, but heard about through Yona. Soo-won switched his act to the care-free act.
"Lord Kan-Tae Jun! Why hello, what brings you here?" Both siblings shared a glance, at extra-ordanarily serious man infront of you.
". . . Is something wrong, Lord?" You asked, he seemed like he had committed a crime or something.
"I apologize for coming here at such a late time. And a day before your important coronation. I came because I had something that I had to give you at all costs." He handed out something wrapped in cloth, to Soo-won, who gently took it from his hand. When Soo-won opened it, both his and your eyes went as wide as saucers.
"Princess Yona had died. We had found them at the border of the fire and wind tribe, by the northern mountains. We pursued General Hak and Princess Yona, we almost had them. But they fell from the cliff to the bottom of the valley." You whipped your head around as the man spoke tears forming in your eyes.
"What? They fell from the cliff?" As Kye-sook spoke to the male, you unconsciously blocked out any noice. Memories and memories of Yona and Hak played through your mind, as you had yet to accept, the death of Yona and Hak.
They can't die, they wouldnt. There was still a light feeling in you, that convinced you they were alive, but with so much evidence, what if they had left the world? Leaving you all alone.
You left them, heading towards your bedroom more like running, slowly one by one tears fell. What if they had died? Rain started pouring reminding you of the time Hak and You were alone in the rain, the two of you were having so much fun, just last week? So how did it become like this?
Heading towards your room, you shut the door, locking it. You were not going to stay here, confined to the palace all day. As Yona and Hak fought for life and death, why did you have the right to live a leasure life. You were going to escape. And run far away from here. Whether you survive or not was up to fate.
You got a piece of paper and quill, scribbling on a note for Soo-won. Grabbing a few necessities like water, food, and money, and even a survival weapon, you left your room.
The palace had several exits and entrances, most of them were guarded by soldiers. Except one, the exit by the garden of the palace, which led to the fire and wind tribe.
Yona and Yourself had found this secret passage back when you were 13 and used it to escape the palace a few times. The night was dark, and everyone was getting ready for the crowning ceremony taking place early tommorow.
The soldiers were barely guarding the palace, as most of them didnt even glance at you. The garden wasnt very far from your room and once you reach the garden, it's super easy to leave the palace. Espically since it was dark, nobody would even notice you.
And you were right, once you reached the garden you breezed through it, only stopping at the wall to find the passage, which took a good 20 minutes of you patting the wall in the dark. Here is where your adventure would start.
You looked back one last time, where you making the right decision, was it instant death once you leave the castle. Thoughts buzzed through your head, maybe you were making the wrong decision. But you only live once, and you were not going to live your life confined to a palace being pampered. You wanted to live and exiting life.
And so you confidently took the first step, and the step after step, you headed further away from the castle, once you leave, you will no longer be respected as a Lady, yet something buzzed through you, was it fear or excitement?
You were escaping a life that was already planned out for you, it was time for you to change your fate.

The next morning, news immediately reached Soo-won's ears, the news of the missing lady. Soo-won was furious, he ordered a whole group of soldiers to immediately find you.
"She's alone out there, general Hak isnt there to save her, like he was with the princess, this leads to instant death! Find her no matter what! And do not come home without her." One group after another, 1/4 of the soldiers were sent after you.
Day turned into night, and Soo-won successfully crowned, yet his dream he always wanted to acheive didn't make him happy. He wanted his sister safe and sound, he wanted her back. He stared up at the moon and spoke
" (Name). Come back. Please."
