// Bandits //

The new addition to your group, the legendary white dragon, who you learned was Kija, Kija was a beautiful person. He quickly became a new target of Hak's teasing. The both of them bickering, fighting and yelling, almost all the time.

You five were currently resting on the ground, under the trees as Yoon, Yona and Kija worked on the location of the next dragon, the Seiryuu. Hak sat beside you, letting the others work on the map, as he spent a few minutes with you.

"Hak, you said you're not Yona's bodyguard anymore since she has Kija-kun, does that make you my bodyguard?" You rested your head on his shoulder, as you remembered what Hak had said back at Kija's village.

"Want me to be more than your bodyguard~?" He teased, earning a slap to his shoulder as a pout formed on your lips, you puffed your cheeks out, taking off your head from his shoulder.

"No idiot! Just protect me properly, and not half-heartedly because I'm not a princess!" You turned away from Hak, not wanting to deal with his annoying teasing.

"Of course~ My mind, soul and body, will make sure not a single hair on your body is hurt." He honestly told you, as you perked up, turning your head back towards him.

"Really? Well thanks!" Offering him a huge smile, Hak smirked.

"You are my Ms. Chubby Cheeks after all." He pulled your cheeks, and squished them together, amusing himself with your reactions.

Your heartbeat sped up as a thought ran through your head, over and over again. He said my. He called me his.

Out of the corner of his eye, Kija curiously observed the both of you. He noticed how Hak was absolutely head over heels for you. And how you too had feelings for Hak, yet you didn't show it, those feelings have always been there, but they've starting coming out recently. This was the beginning of a blossoming love, and Kija was excited to watch how this love will bloom.

Hak stopped pulling your cheeks, and stood up as did Kija, the two of them making eye contact with each other. However the rest of you had no idea what was happening.

"The three of you go hide. Someone is coming." Hak stated as Yona and yourself glanced at each other. It wasn't long before the two of them, Yona and Yoon quickly went and hid, behind a few bushes.

"Be careful Hak, your wounds still haven't healed. You too, Kija-kun, be careful!" You quickly chased after your cousin, as you safely made it behind the bushes, squeezing in beside the two of them.

In a span of 5 minutes, Hak and Kija were surrounded by bandits. Greedy bandits. The bandits had spotted the three of you, who were hidden in the bushes, their eyes hungry, for woman.

Unfortunately for them, they had underestimated the two men infront of them. They didn't know once was an ex-general thunder beast, and the other was a legendary white dragon.

The bandits were ready to attack, as they all charged at once, thinking this was a fight between tigers and mice, yet they didn't know they were not the tigers, they were only mice, actually not even mice was enough to describe them, they were small flies, who were in your way.

Hak and Kija fought side by side, as they wiped out one man after the other, the bandits not even lasting for a second. The three of you, Yona, Yoon and Yourself were so immersed in watching them, you didn't even sense the presence of a bandit behind you.

"Agh!" Yona's arm was yanked by a bandit, as he held her close to him, panic and fear washing over both Yoon and your faces, as you tried stopping him. The two of you were to busy trying to save Yona, you didn't notice the other bandit who crept behind you.

"Ouch!" The bandit who was opposite to Yona, and behind you, grabbed your lucious hair, pulling your body towards his. Taking both Yoon and Yourself by surprise.

Pain spread through out your head, due to the way he handled you, he had a tight grip on your hair. As you tried, freeing yourself from him.

Kija quickly made his way over towards Yona, killing the bandit in a matter of seconds, quickly making sure the princess was fine.

Meanwhile Hak, headed towards you. He was raged at the thought of you being hurt and absolutely slaughtered the bandit into peices, he turned towards you, and made sure you had no major injuries. Gently, he placed his hand on your head, before finishing up the rest of the bandits.

Hak ended up reopening his wounds by the end of the fight, despite the multiple warnings you had given him. Kija currently carried Hak with his super strength, which he only had in his right arm.

Yoon walked ahead of you, finding a good place to rest for the night, Kija walking behind you with Hak on his shoulder, Yona and You walking in the middle. Yona had ended up interwining her hands with yours.

Kija noticed how you had kept glancing back, keeping an eye on Hak. Even though, Yona had glanced back a few times, it was nothing compared to the amount of times, you had glanced back. It seemed like no matter what, you simply could not get Hak out of your mind.

"Lady (Name)." Kija called out, as you halted, letting Yona go ahead of you. You turned towards Kija wondering what was wrong.

"What's wrong, Kija-kun?" You asked, as he offered you nothing but a smile.

"Don't worry, the beast will be alright."
