Chapter 2

Hayami's POV:

I froze in place. I wanted to turn around but i was too afraid to. I did so anyways.

"I didn't think you'd actually come."

"Mikey?" My eyes widened. He walked closer to me to the point where we were steps away from each other

"Hami." He smiled. It was dark, but despite that, i could see my reflection in Mikey's almost lifeless eyes.

"Yes?" I answered back to him, i was nervous but i tried to hide it as much as possible. It was getting harder to keep calm as inched closer to me. I held my breath.

"Why did you break up with Kenny?" He stated.

"Oh, right." I tried to back up a bit, but i bashed against something. I turned around to see the railing.

"Careful there, you could've fallen." He grabbed my arm gently, but his grip was strong.

"Yeah thanks. Anyways, about Draken. I didn't love him and he didn't love me, there's his girl that he would always talk about, Emma is her name."

"Oh i see, so you're not sad or mad?" He questioned.

"No." I said bluntly. I don't know if it was just me, but i saw his eyes sparkle just slightly.

"Alright, anyways, i was wondering if you'd liked the surprise i gave you.

"The surprise, you're telling me that the roses were yours?" I raised my voice slightly

"Yeah, i went to the apartment to see you, but instead was greeted with Draken and Emma. Draken told me that you had probably left, so i looked for you. And i got some roses just incase."

"Incase? Of what?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Incase you were sad, or mad." He smiled. I probably would have started yelling at him since the whole thing was a bit creepy. But instead i shook it off.

"It was a nice surprise, thank you." I sighed. "But was that all you wanted or needed to tell me?"

"No, not exactly, two more things. First, would you like to go to the movies with me tomorrow?"

"Sure, id love to." Of course, i already had plans with Takemitchi and Hinata, but c'mon, this is the first and probably only time that Mikey is going to invite me somewhere.

"Alright great! Now let's get to your apartment." He took my hand and led me out of the love hotel. We walked in absolute silence, none of us spoke, and even though I was about to, i thought i would talk about something stupid.

"Here we are." I said entering the building. "Don't just stand there. Come in, it's really cold outside." I looked at him as he slowly walked towards me.

"If you say so." He smiled. We got in and went to my room.

"Ahh, finally." I sighed as i laid down on my bed. "So comfyyyy." I looked at Mikey, he was just standing by the doorway, looking around.

"It's a nice place that you have here." He stated.

"Thanks, i still need to find an apartment or something, but for now, here's where I'm staying. Wanna watch tv?" I said, grabbing the remote.

"Sure." Mikey moved so he could face the screen. I rolled my eyes, grabbed his arm and pulled him onto the bed.

"We're not strangers Mikey." I looked at the television, switching channels. I heard him slightly giggle as he sat on the bed. We stared at the screen for a good 2 hours before i fell asleep.

Mikey's POV:

Hayami was already asleep and i was still in her room, now, i have one of two choices, i can leave, or i can stay here with her.

"An idiot would choose the first option, a smart person would choose the second." I whispered to myself. I sighed and got up, i had to find my jacket. I took it off before watching tv, i don't remember where i threw it though. I scanned the room but i didn't see anything.

"Fuck." I said quietly, i looked at Hayami, she had my jacket. She was holding it tightly, there's no way i would be getting it now. I rubbed my temples, I'll just leave and ask for it tomorrow. I turned off the tv and the lights, i was about to turn the knob, but i stopped in my tracks. I walked over to Hayami and kissed her forehead, i smiled and then left.
