This spot, at the beach of Naples, was definitely stunning. Even if the two of them already spent a lot of time there, it always was a golden experience. Their parents were friends, so it wasn't really a surprise that those two met and eventually became friends. They played together, fought, swam in the ocean. The fish down there were always very colorful and sometimes even a bit friendly. What a wonderful world.

After some time, they noticed that there was more between them than friendship. But neither of them dared to say something.

Today was supposed to be another day like that, but Fugo finally took the courage to ask his crush out. "Hey Giorno, shall we go to the beach today?" He only thought shortly about it. "Sure. When? I need to finish something for college, but I would have time after 4." "Hmm... The sunset is supposed to be beautiful this evening. So around 8?" "That works! Ci vediamo!"

Fugo was really exited now. Today he was going to confess his feelings to the person he loved! What should he wear? Should he bring roses? He hadn't been in a situation like this before! But now he had to go or he would be late for work. When he got to Libbecio, a restaurant in the middle of Naples, his boss was already waiting for him. "Fugo, what took you so long? The tables don't set themselves!" snapped Bruno, the restaurant's manager, at him. "I'm sorry. This will not happen again." "Ah, it's okay. You're normally on time, so it's fine." Fugo began to set the tables quickly but was interrupted by a co-worker. "Well, Fugo? Too late because you were busy? Had it something to do with... Giorno?" Mista asked him with a smirk. "Oh shut up. You should better do your work instead of annoying me." "Alright, alright... Oi! There are two knifes missing on the table back there!"

The day passed a lot more slowly than normally. The hours till the end of his work felt like they crept away. But when it already was 7pm, Fugo went to his apartment quickly and got ready. Then he left a bit earlier to buy roses on the way to the beach. He thought about whether this was a bit too corny or not, but the stereotypical, romantic Italian hidden inside of him won.

As he finally arrived at the beach, Giorno was already there. Long and blonde hair, flowing in the wind. Those beautiful, deep green eyes. Fugo couldn't get to him quick enough. "Buona sera Girono! There you go, the flowers are for you." "Oh, grazie! They're gorgeous." Fugo took Giornos hand in his and the two walked along the seashore till they got to the spot both of them knew. "Do you remember the day I pushed you into the water after you put seashells under my towel?" asked Fugo. "Yes, but it was a nice day beside that." They both laughed at the memory. "So, Giorno" Fugo began "I didn't ask you to meet with me here without a reason. The thing is, I... I fell in love with you. Your eyes, your character, your seldom but genuine smile. Everything about you! I know, we've known each other for some time and only have been friends, but I can't really imagine being still friends with you when I have those feelings. Hopefully you feel the same because I don't know if I could stay friends with you, as I said." Giorno looked at him, blushing."Fugo, I love you too. Dio mio, why didn't I say something earlier. Does that mean, we're... A couple now?" "Well, if you like to!" Fugo just said and laughed.

The sun was already half-sunk into the ocean. Her last rays warmed the wind which softly blew around them. You could describe it as golden, if you're feeling poetic. The pair stood there in a close hug till the sun was fully gone. Then Fugo came up with an idea. "Did you have dinner already? I know a good restaurant. How about we go there?" Giorno agreed.

They went on their way to Libeccio where other colleagues of Fugo worked at the evening shift. "Hey Fugo, who's your beautiful date?" shouted Narancia, a colleague and best friend of Fugo, through the restaurant. "Don't shout around like that. Do you have a table for us?" "We always have a table for you, my dearest" he said with a wink. They sat down and got their food shortly after it. "You really eat something like that?" said Giorno with a asking look at Fugos black spaghetti. "Of course, they're really tasty. Do you want to try?" He twirled some on his fork and held the fork up to Giornos mouth. "Hm, you're right, they're really good. But now we both look like Abbachio!" Abbachio, another colleague of Fugo who always wore black lipstick, looked over to them. "I never thought Fugo would find someone." he said to Trish, the barkeeper. "Me neither. But apparently there are still wonders happening in this world!"

And so the evening came to an end. Fugo brought Giorno to his appartement and gave him a goodnight kiss on his cheek. As they parted, both of them knew that they would have a lot more of those beautiful moments together at the beach and other places.
