“Please be alive, come back to me.” The first thing that I felt before I fully regain my consciousness is her warm drops of tears as she cried to me.
How I long for this day to come... How I miss her cinnamon scented hair... I really miss you...
“Calypso”
She stopped crying, “Leo?”
I smiled at her. “The one and only, dear Calypso”
“Stop joking!” she said while punching me. “Ouch!” I said, rubbing my chest. “I can see that you’re still the same Calypso” I said jokingly.
She buried her face at my chest and started crying again “Not funny!”
“I thought that *sniff* you’d leave me again. I’m scared… Please don’t do that again. Don’t you die and leave me again.” I can feel her body shivering as she cried on me.
I hugged her tight, never minding the pain of my wounds. I just want to hold her and let her feel my warmth.
“Don’t worry. I’ll never leave your side again Calypso. I’ll be with you forever. Together we will leave this island and you will be free at last”
“Promise?”
“I promise.” I smiled and pat her head. “Now wipe your tears. You’re more beautiful if you’re smiling.”
She stood up and carefully helps me got up. Then she wipes her tears and put on a big smile.
“Leo?”
“Yes Calypso?”
“Welcome home”
And with that, she finally gave me a sweet warm kiss.
