- Good morning Annie, I hope you'll like it here. I want you to meet your workmates. Vincent( charge nurse) , Kevin , Sienna, Blessie and Mia. They will be assisting you with your duties and responsibilities since you don't have much background in Pediatrics.

Vincent was the first person who approached me.

'' Hi, Nice to meet you. I hope you will have a wonderful experience with us. We can catch us sometime, you know talk about things? know each other more?

Vincent lives in another town but choose to work at a hospital because it's been his dream. he is a business man and he owns a chain of farm supply products, they have massive branches all over the region. He's a happy go lucky type and down to earth.

I gave him a smile and went on to my training. It's hard to handle kids especially when it's time to administer their medicines. I don't have much patience and to be fair I have anger issues.

While sitting at the corner of the nurses station. I felt like my heart is being hammered thinking about my past relationships, What happened? Why I ended up being this cold hearted, no face no case lady that I am now. No words can explain what I'm feeling right now, I even hide it from my parents knowing that we had an agreement about not keeping secrets.

''Kevin came into the room saying... Annie, we need to go for rounds and administer the medicines.''

I said okay ... grabbed my things and went with him inside the ward. I am still wondering about how these guys can work with their partners(bf/gf) around. They all look professional from one another and when the shift ends and the happy hour hits they are a different person and I am starting to love their company. By the time stuck 7 pm we all packed our things and went out of the hospital.

Shift is over. We should grab a drink at a bar near here. Siena suggested while all of out team mates agreed to go. I don't want to be a killjoy so I went out with them.

We should ride altogether since my car can accommodate all of us. Mia jump in and offered it to all of us. We all happily agreed and hopped in. Mia is a cool girl she played '' A Thousand Miles'' on her music player and all of us jammed to the song making mini dances inside the car. Everybody was having fun then suddenly they stopped like they ran out of breath. I was facing them so I don't have any idea why they suddenly stopped singing. They were making a sign language telling that there is somebody entering the place. My stupid ass isn't good enough with sign language. Half wasted and half aware I shouted at them ''What the hell are you saying?'', while slowly spinning the chair around to see who's there saying ''Who is it? Why are you making me feel like there's an angel coming in?''

''Hi Annie , it seems like you are having fun.''

A man with a sultry voice leaned and whispered in my ear. I felt him smile and that's it. I'm done, he is my weakness. Ugh. I saw my friends and I am now convinced that they know about me liking Doctor V. This was their plan, they invited him over.

We don't want you to be a third wheel or something so we invited him. - All of them are nodding their head like it was the best decision they've ever made.

We enjoyed the night, we sung, we danced, we hit it hard and we got wasted.

I can drop you home Annie. You are in no condition to drive.- Dr. V offered while I am about to leave my chair. Everybody suggested that it's best that I go with him since our place is near to each other. So, I said yes in defeat.

He opened his car door for me, he assisted me getting inside and he made sure I won't bump my head. The leathery feel of his chair is comfortable, the minty scent of his car is arousing. I am tipsy and I couldn't process what he's saying because I am too altered to understand him. He then suddenly advanced his stance while sitting on the drivers' sit and fixing my sit belt our eyes met and I can feel him breathe. His lips looks so pinkish and smooth, I just want to kiss him...

the unexpected happened, I thought I was dreaming. I felt his lips on mine and I didn't hesitate to kiss him back.
