ginny weasley's birthday

alright, it's the 11th of august, so apparently ginny weasley's birthday

if you search it up, it'd most likely always tell you that it's on the 11th of august

thing is, it honestly makes little-to-no sense that it's her birthday today lol

so like- if you've read the fifth book (harry potter and the order of the phoenix) and/or watched the film, you'll know that harry has to go to a hearing in the ministry of magic because of underage use of magic and stuff even though he and dudley were in a life threatening situation at the time, but the ministry's a bitch so like- yea um- no, there ain't gonna be no excuse for that even tho it literally says that in the rules or whatever

and thats all well and good, until you look at the date of harry's hearing in the ministry, the 12th of august

and, oh! will you look at that! that's the day after ginny's birthday :D

now, harry spent at least a couple of days beforehand at grimmauld place, so he sure as hell will have been there at her birthday and the weasleys (minus percy and charlie i think- it's been like half a year since i last reread the books-) are obviously there too

so why wasn't it mentioned? (i mean it's kinda obvious that the date of her birthday was only thought of later on and that little detail was probably just forgotten and it's something that could honestly happen to anyone, but we don't really like j.k. rowling so i'll go on with this)

the weasleys don't seem like the type of family that would just forget about birthdays

especially molly wouldn't, cuz like- it's molly. what else is there to be said about it really?

so, therefore, i conclude that no, it is not her birthday after all lol
