"ok, the first house is on sunshine boulevard," leila read off, giving kalynn the directions.
harrison and weston were still, unsurprising, ridden to the back seat. leila and kalynn only switched spots because leila didn't feel like driving. besides, she needed to look at the open house addresses.
"fitting," harrison commented as they drove through the street, looking at all the nice, neat houses.
"what's the house number?" kalynn asked, driving slowly by the lines of houses. she glanced over at her girlfriend, nerves still underlying the bit of her stomach stubbornly. she'd posted earlier that morning and hadn't been on her phone since.
"uh," leila looked back down to check. "thirty three. it's that one," she pointed out the window to a house, featured with yellow accents. it looked pretty nice.
"shall we go in?"
"i'm not feeling it," kalynn shook her head, eyes flitting around the living room. they'd all regrouped after looking through the first house. "it's a little too- nice? no, neat? clean?"
