The head of the guards approached Loki. "Tell everyone on Asgard to prepare for war. Have the rest readied on a ship, out of Asgard. Something big is coming and we need to ready fast." Loki hastily instructed as he power walked down the corridor isles.
"Yes, my king." The guard nodded, leading the few other storming guards out of the palace to spread the word.
A grim look was upon Loki's face. All hope was on the line. He started to feel the tension rising within Asgard. All this time nobody knew. Not even himself. People were dying without anyone noticing. How was that even possible? Surely someone would've noticed. But there was nothing. Not even a fragment of evidence to prove any mass murder. It's like time was missing it's peak. Everything was running smoothly, but little fragments were being taken out, unnoticed.
A scream was heard in the distance. Loki's attention was grabbed by it. He ran closer and closer to wherever the scream was coming from, just hoping it wasn't Luna breaking out into hell bringing again. As he got there, he could see Luna just standing there, hitting her fists against the wall repeatedly. He didn't know whether to get closer or not. But he remained where he was.
Luna turned around, blasting energy orbs into the walls, destroying them, she yelled as she did it.
"Luna! Stop!" Loki yelled.
She turned to face Loki. "Why bother? This place needs to be reborn!"
He used telekinesis on her so she could come to a halt. She couldn't move and was struggling. "Focus." He reminded her. "Get out of your head and focus."
She glared at him, then broke from his telekinesis grip. She blasted energy orbs towards him.
"Not again..." he murmured under his breath, conjuring his sceptre. The blue energy blasted Luna backward.
She got quickly got up and whipped out her dagger, swinging at Loki.
"Luna, the whole world is going to fall into pieces if you can't focus!" He snapped, dodging her dagger swings and kicking her backward.
"The world will be into pieces." She spat, grabbing his arm and flipping him to the ground.
He grunted. "This is absurd. The dark energy is controlling you!" He blurted, getting back up.
"The only one controlling me is myself. Now out of my way before I do it myself!" She seethed, throwing him out of the way with her telekinesis. She stormed away from him.
Loki grimaced in pain for a moment and grabbed his sceptre. He pointed it towards Luna and blasted the blue energy towards her. She fell to the ground.
"You're pissing me off!" She seethed, getting up.
"Good," Loki rebutted. "I'm glad that worked." He teleported in front of her. "Now stop repeating yourself into this situation and focus on stopping this."
She tilted her head. "You're in my way." She said bluntly.
"And I'm not going anywhere." He said bluntly back, phasing the sceptre away and conjured a dagger. He took a few swings at her.
Luna dodged the dagger swings. She ran to a wall and lifted herself off of it, grabbing Loki and swinging herself around him, taking him down. She pinned him right there with her dagger ready.
"What is it that you want?" He asked, breathing heavily.
"Fun and havoc." She replied. "And to rule Asgard along with the Nine Realms."
"Right..." He said, quickly stabbing her in the stomach as he was grasping onto her arm with the dagger that he was fighting with.
She grunted with a gasp and fell over, holding her stomach that bled out. Loki let out a sharp exhale and got half way up, approaching closer to her.
With a few gasps, Luna managed to still keep her guard. She slowly stood up with a stumble, glaring so darkly at him.
Loki took this as his chance to enchant her mind. He put his hand on her head, beginning the enchantment so the voices would become dormant for a little while. "I can't believe we just went through this and here we are again..." he murmured, looking down to where he stabbed her. Fortunately, the wound was gone. It's like there was no wound there to begin with.
Without any quarrel, Luna just stood there, blinking her eyes rapidly for a moment. She finally came back from being controlled.
"There..." Loki breathed a sigh of relief, "it worked...but not for very long."
Luna brought her hand to her head. "It's all blurry..." she murmured.
"Did anything happen as I was gone?" He asked with some concern, looking into her eyes.
"I..I'm not sure..." she replied. "It's blurry..." there wasn't really anything to remember much at all from her mind.
He sighed. "I've got the guards to warn the people. It's only a matter of time now. We need to get to Midgard."
"Who else should we have along with us? I mean...at this point I don't think just the two of us could withstand a huge apocalypse of dark energy." She implied. "We probably should get The Avengers attention or..."
"Not until we get further into this." He objected. "Are you sure you don't remember anything before I left?"
Luna was in thought for a moment. She thought hard, trying to even remember what happened before she told Loki to tell the Asgardians to be prepared for war. Her eyes were closed. "I think..." she began, "I think there was something just after you left."
"I'm listening." He said.
"There was...this black smoke that appeared in front of me. It wanted me to go with it. And it told me that it wanted to rebirth the Nine Realms. Everything. The whole universe. I've never had come across that." She explained, opening up her eyes.
"Let's go." He ordered, marching away.
She nodded, following his path.
They got to the rainbow bridge and went inside the dome. Luna took the sword and put it in the hole, turning it slightly. The portal began to spin around so it would open up. Soon after, her and Loki disappeared, being sent at a fast speed down to Midgard.
