Asgard.

Luna walked down the rainbow bridge. She was determined to get her revenge on this being who has sought out for her. She could already feel her mind getting louder. She expected this. And it was not too long before it would get worse. She could feel the presence of the dark energy engulfing Asgard. Just as it was a decade ago.

She never made an appearance within the kingdom. Even though she was adopted by Odin and Frigga. She was alongside Loki and Thor at a young age. But since then, she vanished further into the Asgardian lands. She didn't want any part of the royalty. Let alone being apart of that family. She never felt like she belonged in Asgard because she knew she wasn't like Thor. She was more like Loki. But yet she still ran away.

Luna made her way to the entrance. Everything seemed normal. But really, it wasn't. She wasn't armed with anything as she didn't want to make a scene among the civilians. She phased away and teleported to the Asgardian castle, sneaking her way through. Her main concern was to find where this dark energy is coming from so she could stop it. But how? She had no idea where to even start.

The voices were getting louder. Luna slightly grimaced in pain. She knew her body would be in pain as well. It wasn't just voices and her mind going crazy. She didn't take a chance to go directly to the throne. She had to find a way to someone. Loki. That was her brother. That's who she was missing. There was too much in her mind to even remember who she even contacted with who was of her blood.

After finding her way through a safe spot where nobody could find her, she was close to the throne room. But she still did not dare to go there until the coast was clear. She peaked around a column and saw a guard standing there. However, he didn't stand there for much longer. He collapsed to the ground and didn't move. Luna tilted her head, squinting her eyes in interest. This was more than just dark energy around Asgard. It was killing people. Inaudibly.

At this point, she couldn't do it on her own. This was more than just a single control over someone. Her mind raced as she kept thinking if she would drop dead at any moment given. But she couldn't think about that right now. Her main focus was to find who is behind this and get one others help.

Three guards marched around a corner. Luna disappeared behind another column so she wouldn't be seen. She peaked around it as the guards were marching by. Then someone followed. Dressed in green fabric and gold armoury with a golden helmet with big horns protruding from it. A green cape followed. He had a sceptre.

Luna waited for the guards to leave as it was just the deity right there. She didn't want to even dare to start this. But it was her only way. She approached out in the open of the vicinity and kept her guard. Taking out her small knife, she decided to throw it, purposely missing the deity. He turned around, noticing her.

"Just who do you think you are to threaten me?" He seethed.

Luna snickered. She had to play a trick just for fun. "Thought I'd get your attention by throwing things". She replied.

The sceptre looked like it was ready to send energy blasts at Luna. She stood her ground. "Listen, I'm not here for a fight by any means." She said.

The deity tiled his head. "By what means?" He asked. "You are clearly a threat and must be stopped." The sceptre blasted blue energy towards Luna.

Luna flipped over it, twisting in the air and landing perfectly. She grabbed her dagger. "I don't have time for this."

"Then stay away." He said, getting ready for another attack.

Luna approached closer to him. The deity was ready to block Luna's attack with his sceptre. She was ready to strike him, however that resulted in a block. Her dagger was right on the sceptre's handle. "No. There's other things to be worried about other than me. But if you want a fight, we can fight. But right now, Asgard is in serious danger and it cannot be stopped unless there is something stronger than it." Luna explained, backing away from his swing at her.

"What danger? He asked. "Who are you?"

Luna Laufeyson." She replied. "There's a dark energy that has taken over Asgard and soon to take over the Nine Realms. Including Midgard. And if we don't stop it, we are all at risk to death and to eternal subjugation."

The deity stopped dead in his tracks, pulling away from her attack. "Laufeyson?" He echoed.

Luna wielded her dagger, backing away with a nod. "And you are?"

"I am Loki. King of Asgard." He replied.

"You seem familiar to me, Loki." She said. "But I need your help. And I need it fast."
