"Joseph, you've really outdone yourself." Jordyn exclaimed, watching the mafia's fashion designer put the last finishing touches on her ballgown.

"You must be very excited for the ball tonight!" Joseph spoke, his words slightly muffled by the pins held in his mouth.

Jordyn beamed, "Oh, absolutely! You know, I had always dreamed of going to a ball, but I'd never imagined it'd actually happen. The closest thing I've had to it was grad."

"And when was that?" He asked, sewing in one last seam.

"Last week, lol. Kinda crazy!" Jordyn jested.

Joseph chuckled at her remark, "Well I guess it's good that you were kidnapped then! And might I say that you were born to be in a ball gown."

"Hmm.. I guess you're right," Jordyn replied, suddenly deep in thought.

She had been mad at Sergio for keeping her in the mafia against her will, but suddenly was thankful for it. There was no denying he was truly her soulmate. Being kidnapped had changed her life in a major way and let her do things she would have never been able to do beforehand. Who knew she would set a building on fire, killing some of the most dangerous men in Russia simultaneously? Her heart was full thinking about her adventures leading up to the ball. These last few days felt like years.

"Aaaaaaand... Done!"

Joseph stepped back from the dress to look at the final product. He stood, astonished by his creation.

"Absolutely beautiful!" He exclaimed, gesturing for her to turn around and look at herself in the mirrors behind her.

She spun around quickly, immediately pleased with the dress. It was a stunning black gown made from lace and silky fabrics that accentuated her curves and flared out at the bottom. The corseted bodice was topped off with dark swarovski crystals hand sewn in by Joseph, himself. Jordyn twirled, feeling sexy and powerful. This was a whole moment and she was living for it.

"I love it, Joseph! I am so glad you weren't one of the people I had to blow up!"

"What do you mean 'one of the people you had to blow up'?" Joseph asked, his eyes growing wide.

Jordyn did not take a second to contemplate her next words, "Oh you didn't hear? I totally exploded some guys the other day! But it's okay, they deserved it."

She should have thought about what she was saying.

"Who did you blow up?" Joseph asked in fear.

"Just some of the stupid traitors who were in the mafia, emphasis on were."

Joseph took a step back from Jordyn in complete shock. He was speechless.

"Oh, come on, they were untrustworthy!" Jordyn explained in response to his dramatic reaction.

"I knew they couldn't have just gone missing! It all makes sense now! YOU killed those innocent men-"

Jordyn interrupted, flipping her hair, "I'd hardly say they were innocent."

"Maybe so, but they had families! They had lives!" Joseph began to raise his voice. He was on the verge of tears knowing he was confronting the killer of some of his closest friends.

"Well... I didn't know that!" Jordyn retorted, oblivious to the consequences of her actions.

Joseph was fuming.

"How do you not think before you kill? Are you that heartless?"

"Okay calm down, these guys did not pass the vibe check. If anything, I was doing everyone a favour by killing them," Jordyn said, crossing her arms in annoyance.
