It's been about 2 weeks since Harry's incident... they haven't spoken about the night Luna bandaged up his hand. They've barely spoken at all, really. Luna has been spending a majority of her days with Zayn. Yeah, the boys have their group meetings at the house sometimes, but Harry and Zayn make sure that she stays in the bedroom during it.

Luna has seen a few more of their 'friends', or as they call them, their 'partners'. Niall, Liam and Louis. But Luna catches the boys sharing laughs together, and they do hang out on the odd occasion. She hasn't personally met them, because every time they're over, she has to stay in her room, which she isn't happy about. But there isn't a lot she can do.

The night with Harry keeps replaying in her mind. The way he looked at her, with such delicate eyes, one of the limited times she's seen Harry without a frown on his face... he looked peaceful. She can't get the image of his green eyes out of her mind. Every time she looks into them, she's mesmerised. They do something to her that she can't explain. The way he makes her feel when they do share little moments like this, is unexplainable.

But then there are the bad days. More like weeks. Weeks he would go avoiding and ignoring her, brushing his shoulder past hers when he is storming out of the room, screaming through his bedroom walls, holding her against the wall, threatening her. She doesn't know what causes these sudden outbursts of anger, and to be quite honest, she doesn't really want to know.

She is unaware of the reason why he has such a hold on her. He's a dick, she doesn't like him. But for some odd reason, she has a connection with him. One she cannot explain. But why? Why does she have such strong emotions towards an abusive, mean man? The bad outweighs the good for sure, but there's something that keeps her wanting more.

And then there's Zayn. Sweet, caring, lovable Zayn. The day he took her to their spot, is a day she would never forget. The way he makes her laugh, the interest he genuinely shows towards her and the things she likes to do, warms Luna's heart. It's almost as if he doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Luna cherishes and adores the moments she shares with Zayn. He makes her feel special. He makes her feel safe.

There hasn't been one incident with Zayn that has left Luna feeling vulnerable or in danger. He's almost like her security blanket. He's there when she needs someone, regardless of the time, he's understanding, he listens to her when she rambles on about silly little things. He makes her feel wanted. She does love him. But she doesn't know in what way.

She can't fall for brothers... that's wrong. She knows who the right choice would be for her. But her head is telling her one thing, whilst her heart is telling her another. She pushes her feelings aside, there's more important things to focus on right now.

She can't fall for brothers... or can she?

Walking down the stairs and into the kitchen was the most awkward thing I've done in a long time. Especially when the first thing I see is Harry and Zayn standing on opposite sides of the kitchen talking about god knows what, and suddenly they both go mute when I walk in.

I stand in the kitchen and look back and forth between the two. "sorry, did I interrupt?" I ask, making my way over to the fridge.

"no" Harry sharply replies.

"no, not at all" Zayn also responds.

"good, what were you talking about?" I question, taking a sip of the orange juice I just poured myself.

I notice Harry give Zayn a glare. Zayn looks back and furrows his eyebrows at him, before looking back to me. "oh, we were going to go out with some of the boys today, but we didn't know if you wanted to come or not"
