Chapter 1

In my advanced math class, only Pope was there plus all the other people that were good at math. Over the review for the people that missed something during the lesson got bored because I knew I didn't miss anything. The next thing is I notice myself staring at Pope! Did I really like him? a bunch of thoughts poured into my head. the next thing I heard was

"y/n? do you have the answer to question six?" my teacher said.

i flipped the pages in my notebook until I finally found it.

" yes, I do. 693?" I said

"correct, now we are going to pair up in teams with the regular math class people. y/n you go with Pope." my teacher said.

how was I supposed to partner up with pope when I just was thinking about asking him out. "y/n are you really that tired today?" pope said with a smile on his face.

"um yeah," I say.

while getting up from my seat and walking with pope to the regular math class. of course Kie, JJ and John b were there. me and pope sat at the table where they are.

"so are yall like a couple now finally?" JJ says.

"obviously not" i say trying to pull it off.

"how come you guys are blushing then?" Kie says.

"nothing," Pope says also trying to play it off also.

"Alright then since it looks like everyone has their partner's time to go home. grab your bags and have a good Thursday." my teacher said probably excited that it was summer break in 2 days.

we all walk home and make plans to go out at 7:00 pm. I get inside my house and hear my aunt say.

"How was school, honey? did anyone ask you to the school dance for Saturday?"

" not yet im hoping pope does though," I say without even thinking about it.

my aunt gasps and says "oh my god I knew it! you like pope!"

my aunt was the only one who understood that I fit into the 'pouges' category.
