Chapter 3

I wake up at 6:00AM and I'm still thinking about pope and what he would be doing right now. I realized how hard i had fallen for Pope but i knew he probably fell harder for me. At about 7:00AM when I'm ready pope texts me, the text read "hey wanna walk to school with me?" I just wrote "sure I'll be at the doc in ten minutes." I get my backpack and put all of my school books and supplies in it. I notice myself staring in the mirror telling myself that its gonna be ok and i look beautiful. I run to the dock and see pope already there.

"Hey, looks like we still have time to go on a boat ride. Wanna use my dads boat?" Pope says.

"Sure i don't mind. Is your dad seriously out here this early?" I say noticing its 6:30AM only.

"Yep he goes by getting up bright and early and going to sleep late at night." Pope says replying to me.

We walk to the doc and i see popes dad and i dont wanna be rude so i say.

"Hi mr Hayward. How's it going?"

"Not to bad. What about you? I see you have a little morning date with pope. How about you guys take my boat. I will appreciate you guys starting it up for me.just come back before school." Popes dad says.

"Thank you dad! Will do!"pope replies happy that he can use his dads boat.

I un tie the rope and pope starts the boat.

"How about we go to the hangout area I'm sure the others are already there." I say trying to figure out where we will go.

"Sure! Hey do you have your outfit picked for tomorrow?" Pope says.

"Not yet but I'm planning on going shopping with Sarah and Kiera."i reply.

"That's good you know not like I've been planning this all year." Pope says.

I laugh. But did he seriously like me this much that he has to take all year to plan this. I finally felt free like i didnt have anything weighing me down or anything to worry about. This is what life feels like. We get t6o the hangout area and not a surprise that all other pouges are there.

"Hey you two love birds" Sarah says.

"What were you guys doing anyways? Pope did you seriously steal your dads boat? Pope becoming a rebel I see." JJ says assuming.

"No we just went to the doc with all the boats and where my dad works and he said it was alright if we took his boat until school." Pope said.

"Did you guys really get your hopes up that we would steal Mr.Hayward's boat? Uh hello we are like the school's smartest people and that is not a good idea."I say laughing.

"Right, right I knew you guys would never do that. Anyways what are you guys doing this summer working towards getting a scholarship or some nerdy shit?" JJ says.

"Yes we are actually but it's not like it will take the whole summer. Why are you asking us? Are you gonna miss your favourite duo?" I say.

"Ah anyways it looks like it's time to head to school we will leave you two lovebirds to go back on the boat" Kiera says as she holds JJ's hand.

"Okay bye guys!" I say.

We go on the boat I realize I got a text message from my brother.
