"Momma, Momma look at my drawing" I said to my mommy who was sitting at her desk where she would normally work for hours on end and would causally take phone calls which she was on at that very moment as well. I just wanted her to see my drawing I did where I drew a snowflake birthday cake which i was very proud of and I wanted my mother to see it. I poked her hip a couple of times and I heard her say "One moment please" and she would glare down at me making me feel goosebumps.
"Carter, Mommy.Is. Busy. Go play to your room and play with your new dolls you got today." she would slightly yell, making me tear up and nod running to my room. I looked outside seeing that the sun was shinning and the flower were in full bloom. I looked down at my blue snowflake dress with my matching flats sighing feeling my tears fall on the doll. Suddenly I felt really cool as I looked up seeing that snow was falling in my room, I giggle and swirled around and ran into something.
"Carter, Right?" I looked up and smile pointing at him. From his snow white hair and his pale blue eyes. I nodded as he would lean on the wall which would fill up with frost covering some of the wall where he stood. He smiled as he walked over and bend down to see me eye to eye.
"Jack Frost is in my room, I can't believe Jack Frost is in my room. Best birthday ever!" I would giggle slightly then would jump up and down, lightly tripping over my feet and landed on some soft snow. He would look at me and smile as he would make the snow extend on my dress making sleeve and a very soft boots that was my flats. I would smile and thank him for my new outfit.
"Carter, you still believe in me and the others right?" He asked me and I nodding knowing what he meant, I always believed in Santa, Tooth Fairy and the Easter bunny. Who wouldn't? They are the coolest. As I nodded he smiled and would create a snowflake pendant made of complete ice which had some deep blues and hints on white. He then made it very stiff and it became a very pretty necklace.
"That's very good Carter, now I must go since the Spring Fairies get very anger with me if I linger longer than I needed. Just remember this, Always believe not what matter what and we will meet again, I promise" He would wave and would become a winter cloud floating away as well as all the snow that made my room look pretty. I stared at the pendant giggling, just as my mother came into my room.
"Carter, your being too loud, what were you doing?" She asked me as she crossed her arms starting at my new outfit.
"I met Jack Frost mommy, he made this dress for me and gave me a pendant too!" she laughed and sighed pinching her nose staring at me.
"Carter be good now until I'm off the phone and I don't see a new outfit nor a pendent honey, you must have dreamt it." she smiled the close my door. I looked down seeing that sleeves and boots disappear and I pouted but the pendent stayed and I smiled giggling staring at the doll.
-Present Day-
"Carter!" I heard my mom screamed and I would jolt up out of bed landing on my face lightly groaning rubbing my head seeing my mom standing at the foot of my bed with her hand on her hip wearing her business attire which consists of a black pencil skirt, a white blouse with flowers and her signature black heels. I noticed her suitcase among other things ,I sighed and stood up knowing that Mom was going on yet another book tour. "Carter, I am going to be away for a few months for another book tour, you know how my schedule is kiddo anyways I have arranged for the neighbors to look after you until I get back. Happy early 18th birthday kiddo" she would lightly kiss my cheek and wave goodbye.
My mother is a famous best-selling author, Susana Williams. I would quickly walk downstairs and would wave at my mom getting into her editors car and would drive away and I would look at the time. Crap! School! I rushed upstairs skipping a step at a time and would quickly shower and would dress into blue off the shoulder sweater and some ripped skinny jeans and my converses. I would open my top draw and would look at the snowflake pendent that I haven't wore since I was a little girl. I sighed and would finally put it on feeling a sudden chill shaking it off as I would get my skateboard and would lock the house up as I rode to the school
