Dumbledore then left with a final task; to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes that created at different points in his life to ensure his immortality. Over several months, Harry, Ron, and Hermione tried to locate the Horcruxes; their efforts included to acquire (which was later destroyed by in December of ).
Furthermore, the day before the battle, the trio succeeded in the belonging to within Gringotts in Diagon Alley to obtain Helga , another Horcrux.
