It's been a little awhile since Lumine and her brother got separated and Lumine has not stopped looking for him. But on her Journey she has met so many wonderful people that are her friends.

Lumine is walking up a path when she sees hilichurls on the path. She gets her sword out then the hilichurls sees her and runs at her. Lumine dodges them. She then attacks them.

Lumine defeats them but she didn't know there was one more behind her. She saw the shadow and turned her head. The hilichurls was about to hit her with a pryo slime. Lumine closed her eyes waiting for the impacted. When it came she was saved by the Vigilant Yaksha himself, Xiao.

When the were at the safe spot Lumine opened her eyes saw she was laying against a tree. She started to get up but felt a sharp pain in her side. "You shouldn't move yet," Xiao then came back with some medicine for the burns on her side. "Wait you saved me?" She questioned him when he was helping her burns. "Of course I saved you. I wasn't gonna let you die," he answered still putting medicine on her side. "Well thank you Xiao," she said while smiling.

It's been a couple hours and Xiao has not left Lumine's side. They are eating right now. Well Lumine is eating. Xiao doesn't want to eat. After Lumine was done she started to get tired and leaned back on the tree. She then fell asleep.

Her head started to fall and Xiao noticed and quickly and quietly went over to her and put her head on his lap. She slept peacefully after that and Xiao was just watching over her and making sure she was ok.

The next morning Lumine woke up and yawned. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she heard a voice above her. Then she realized where her head was and she started blushing and quickly moved and covered her face. Xiao started to laugh a little at her reaction. "I h-hate you," Lumine said while still covering her face. "No you don't," he continued to laugh.

After Xiao was done laughing, Lumine started to cook breakfast. She started to hum while cooking. Xiao was still sitting near the tree with his eyes close, listening to Lumine hum.

When Lumine was done cooking, she started to eat and when she was done eating Xiao started to put medicine on her burn. Lumine and Xiao then started to walk away from the tree. "You know you don't have to come with me." Xiao then looked at her and said "Paimon is still in Liyue so you don't have anyone right now and if I'm not here you will probably get in trouble again." "Hey!" Lumine knew he was right though but she won't amid it.

It's been a couple of hours of walking and it has just been silent. But not an awkward silence, instead it is a calming silence. Lumine then saw a flower that she liked and she ran over. Xiao stopped and looked at her. She was kneeling down looking at the flower with a smile on her face. Xiao then walked to her and started to smile but didn't let Lumine see.

When Xiao got to her, he kneeled down next to her and said "That flower is beautiful." Lumine then smiled and agreed with him. Xiao then took the flower and Lumine looked at him confused. Xiao then put the flower in Lumine's hair and said "There that's better." Lumine started to blush and smile. Xiao then stood up and gave Lumine a hand up. She accepted and took his hand.

When she got up, they didn't let go of each other's hand and just looked in each other's eyes. Lumine then looked away blushing but not letting go of his hand. He started to laugh a little but then let go of her hand and started to walk. Lumine stood there for a minute then started to walk next to him.

They walked for awhile longer and then they stumbled across a treasure hunter camp. The treasure hunters then saw then and one said "Oh look what we have here." Then another one chirped in and said "Hey look at that cute girl." Then another said "Hey we will make you a deal. You give us the girl and you will escape with your life." Xiao then yelled "Not over my dead body!" The leader then said "Well guess we will have to take her by force." The treasure hunters started to charge at them and Xiao stepped in front of Lumine and started to fight the treasure hunters.

Xiao then defeated the treasure hunters and Lumine said "Thanks but I could have defended myself." "Yeah right. They were strong so you're lucky you have me," Xiao then looked at her with blood on his mouth. "Oh god Xiao you have blood on your mouth." Lumine then wiped the blood off of his mouth. Xiao looks away from her. "I'm fine," Lumine frowns at his response. Xiao sees her frowning and says "Fine we can take a break if it makes you feel better." She smiles and then goes to a tree and sits under it. Xiao walks over and joins her.

Lumine looks up at the sky and smiles. Xiao looks at her and just stares in her eyes and sees her eyes sparkling. Xiao couldn't look away, she was just to beautiful. Lumine looked at him and smiled. Then she hugged her knees and put her head on her knees. Xiao without knowing, put his arm around Lumine. Lumine then looked at him and smiled. She then leaned on him and closed her eyes and fell asleep. Xiao smiled a little and started to blush.
