Mr. Barings had taken copies of files of students from the school. He said we needed as many motives as possible. He gave me the copies and told me to look through them, saying he didn't really trust Chris with the job. Though, it's really me he shouldn't be trusting.
I did as he told me, but I took the copies of Ashton's and Bowden's file and hid them in one of the drawers in my desk.
I looked up, seeing my door open slowly. Chris walked in holding some papers. "Anthony told me to bring you these." He handed me the papers. "Have you found anything?"
"No." I scanned through the papers that were handed to me. Class schedules? Why the hell would we need these? "Have you?"
"Nope. But Anthony said he remembered that his son is friends with the Bowden kid. Then he left all of a sudden. I assume a lunch break."
Sh*+.
I hummed, continuing to 'look through the papers' on my desk. Honestly, I just want him to leave. I hoped if I look busy he would. But nope. God, I hate everyone who works here.
"Have you looked through the school files?" He looked at my desk.
"Yes." I looked up, staring at him blankly.
"And you got nothing?"
"Nope."
I stood up, grabbed my keys, and Ashton's and Bowden's file from the drawer. I grabbed other papers and put the files underneath so Chris wouldn't see. "Where are you going?"
"Lunch."
"Can I come?"
"How many questions are you going to ask me?" My voice was harsh. I glared at him.
He stayed quiet. "I'll be back later." I said as I walked out of the room.

The waiter brought me the strawberry smoothie I ordered. "Thanks." She nodded and smiled. "Do you want to order anything else?" I shook my head. She walked away.
I grabbed the files that belong to the two boys and scanned through them both.

Anthony can not find this. Especially since their addresses are the same. I doubt if it came to it, he would have no problem killing Bowden. Even if it was in front of his children.
