The three friends ignored each other for the next few days. Sapnap continually paced back and forth in his room, the crying easy to hear from the other side of the floor. George sat in the corner of his bedroom, all the lights off, his sniffling and sobs echoing throughout the house. Dream just sat in the hallway, staring blankly at the clock as Patches laid beside him.

He watched as the hour hand turned, marking the time. 3:00 it taunted, you've failed to do anything to help for two days now, it's 3:00. I know, I know. Dream thought back, I just don't know how to help. I always seem to make things worse. Maybe you should get some better friends. The clock seemed to sneer, You're glad they feel pain. No I'm not!

Liar.

Dream pulled himself out of his thoughts. Was he actually enjoying the fact that the others were now feeling pain? His pain, the pain he had gone through? No, they're my best friends! I'd rather get hit by a car than for them to be this sad....I've got to do something.

Dream let out a sigh, standing up and awaking the cat next to him. She meowed in confusion as to why the warmth beside her had vanished.

"I'm gonna fix this."

Dream quietly made his way up the stairs, immediately stopping when he heard the crying that had been tormenting the second floor. Dream desperately wanted to comfort George, give him a big bear hug and tell him it would be okay. But Dream knew it was better, better to go to Sapnap first.

Dream was going to fix this. And then everything could be fine. Everything was going to be fine, right?
