"Ok guys, thank you so much for tonight, I think we all needed it!" you exclaimed, hugging JJ and Penelope, who were each getting into their own cab."Oh, we definitely did!" laughed Penelope. "How are you getting home, Em?" she continued.
"Well, I was hoping I could split a cab with y/n, seeing as she lives only a few minutes away," she looked over at you, her eyes pleading for you to say yes. Of course, you agreed.
"You didn't even need to ask Em!" you replied. You bid the two other girls goodbye one last time, before each getting in your own cabs. You got in the right side and sat behind the driver, and Emily climbed in behind you, sitting on the left. You gave the driver your address, and Emily gave him hers. You were both pretty tipsy, but not too drunk, after all, you did have work tomorrow. Before you knew it, the cab stopped outside your apartment building and you got out. "Em, do you wanna come in for another drink before you leave? Your apartment is close so you won't have to walk far?" you asked. You and Emily were very close, and had worked together for years, so she gratefully accepted your invitation as you split the cost of the ride with her. You led her up to your apartment and opened the doors, turning on the lights.
"Do you want a glass of wine?" you asked, already heading over to the kitchen and taking out two wine glasses.
"You know I could never turn down a glass of wine," she joked, sitting herself down on your couch. You joined her and poured the two of you a large glass of white wine each. "So tonight was fun," she remarked.
"It always is, but you never did tell us how your date with Tom went, Emily," you said. When the four of you had landed on the mandatory dating topic, Emily had sneakily wormed her way out of answering any questions by getting more drinks.
She sighed and smiled. "It was awful y/n," she let out an exasperated laugh. "I really just can't find a nice guy. Is it really that hard? I've been on countless dates and afterwards I end up even more disappointed than last time! And if it's not their personality, it's their lack of, and how do I put this delicately, sexual prowess,"
"Oh, tell me about it," you sighed, agreeing with everything she had just said. "Most guys have no clue about women in general!"
She laughed, "Exactly! I wish I could find someone who knew what they were doing and who knew how to do it, yaknow?" You nodded, taking a sip of your wine. And maybe it was the wine talking, but you noticed the way that her chest rose and sunk with each breath, the way that every few minutes her dress would inch higher up her thighs, revealing more of her body. She sensed her eyes on you and turned to look at you also. Her eyes drifted down to your cleavage on show and you saw her tongue run across her bottom lip. The two of you snapped out of your trance when she spoke. "This is gonna sound childish but would you like to play truth or dare?" You raised your eyebrows and nodded. She leaned in closer to you, now sitting no further than a few inches away.
"Okay y/n, truth or dare?" she asked. You took note in her change in register as she asked this. She spoke in such a seductive way that you felt as though you were wrapped around her finger.
"Truth," you responded almost immediately. It was always safer to say truth. She looked away for a second, thinking of a question.
"Have you ever slept with a girl?" she asked. She almost sounded nervous as the words tumbled out of her mouth. You blushed a little. Saying that you were surprised by her question would be a lie, but now she had asked it, you had no clue what to say.
"I mean I've done some stuff but not like proper sex," you said, looking down in your lap. "Have you?" you asked, tracing a circle on your thigh. She laughed.
