-Ranboo's Point of View-
I hummed the tune of "Your New Boyfriend" by Wilbur Soot, AKA Duobur. It felt odd knowing that he was with the guy who chased down Tommy and I the other night. I just shrugged it off. Their "visit" was probably a one-time thing. Probably. I stood in the kitchen, some eggs sizzling on the stove top. It's Saturday so we don't have much to do other than school work, actual work, and night patrols. "Morning Boo." Tubbo said with a yawn. His hair was a mess and he looked really tired.
"Did 'ya stay up all night?" I questioned with a slight smirk, focusing on making sure I didn't burn the eggs. Tubbo has a tendency to over-work himself. It concerns me sometimes.
"Noooo..." He said. Like a liar. I shot the tired burnet a look. He just looked at me lazily. Tommy slid into the bar stool next to Tubbo and ruffled his own blonde hair a bit.
"I saw you passed out at your desk last night." Tommy said with a mocking grin. Tubbo smacked the back of his head, making Tommy yelp. They both quickly laughed it off as I rolled my eyes fondly. I honestly wouldn't want to live any other way. I scraped the eggs onto three plates, pouring some shredded cheese on my eggs.
"Breakfast." I said simply, taking the last stool. I quickly started eating, hearing Tommy and Tubbo grab their own eggs and utensils. There was silence as we ate. It felt half awkward. I finished my pate and stuck it into the sink. I took a glance at the time. 11:12AM. I have to leave the house at 12AM in order to get to my job which officially starts at 12:30, but the boss likes it when I'm early. I had some time to finish up some studying I guess. I went to my bag and pulled out a few papers. I sat back down and started up my English essay again. Why do I have to take this stupid class again? English frustrates me on another level. Maybe I should just take Enderian (A/N: Enderian is Galactic but name changed for story reasons) next year...
It felt like forever before my alarm rang. I snatched my phone from the counter and turned off my 12:00AM alarm labeled "Work Time". I hopped off the stool and grabbed my work uniform, quickly changing into it. It's just a simple white dress-looking shirt with a red apron. I work at a small burger shop not too far from the house. I grabbed my work bag that held a change of clothes and a few other items and headed over to the door. I patted my pockets to double-check I had my keys and phone. Yep, gotem.
"By Boo~!" Tubbo sang from his corner, still typing. He must've gotten another coding job. I smiled a bit.
"By Bee!" I said sweetly. I looked to Tommy who had a slight scowl on his face. He hates being left out. "Bye Tommy!" I sang as I opened the door.
"Bye Ranboob." He grumbled as I shut the door behind me. I just rolled my eyes. He's like this all the time. It's whatever, I think it's just his way of showing affection or something like that. I walked down the staircase, my footsteps being the only noise heard in the small space. I entered the lobby and waved at Niki. She's really nice to us, almost like an older sister of some kind.
"Have fun at work Ranboo! Make sure to tell Tommy and Tubbo I said hi later!" I gave her a small nod as I oped the glass doors and walked onto the street. As I walked I noticed I'd get some stares. It's probably the split hair. Also the sunglasses and mask. Maybe I look like I'm about to rob a bank, which I would never do. I arrived at the door and opened it with a small ding. Soft jazz played through the sitting area as I approached the counter. "Heya Ranboo!" Chirped a familiar voice. I looked up.
"Oh Karl," I said in slight surprise, "where have you been man?" I asked as I opened the small door to enter behind the counter.
"Been interning!" He declared happily. I gave a smile as I shoved my bag under the counter next to him.
