Chapter 11 - I dare you

"Avaaa, come onnn" - Louis said, from the door.

"You missed me, didn't you?" - I teased him while opening the door.

"Nahh, I just wanted one of your... hair ties." - he took one from my wrist and made a small ponytail on his hair with it.

"Awww, aren't you such a cute unicorn?" - I said, squashing his cheeks.

He rolled his eyes.

"Did you know that you scrunch your nose every time you find something cute?" - he asked with his cheeks squashed.

*Oh shoot, do I scrunch my nose when I look at him?*

I placed a soft kiss on his lips and he turned flush red.

"You're blushing" - I said as I let his cheeks go and lifted his chin up with my index finger.

"Come on, Olivia, Luke is here!! Shirtless!!!" - I teased so that she would come quicker to the door.

"Oh hi Luk- he isn't here, is he?" - said the disappointed Olivia, after rushing from the bathroom.

"Nope, hes in our room." - Louis said, taking the tie of his hair.

"I'll pick him up. Oh, Ava, I heard that tomorrow we are going on a boat ride, you should talk to Ms.Lane" - Olivia told me.

"Yeah, I'll go do that. Are you coming, asshole?" - I invited Louis.

"Sure, let's go."

We still had time before meeting our other classmates so we headed to the room where the teachers were staying.

Louis knocked on the door and then my math teacher opened it.

"Oh, hello, Ava... and Louis... What can I help you with?" - the teacher looked at us, up and down.

"We wanted to talk to Ms.Lane, if that's possible." - I said.

"It sure is, wait a minute" - she turned and pushed the door.

"What was that about?" - Louis wondered.

"What?" - I said, in confusion.

"The up and down look. That was odd."

"Oh, that. Shes probably surprised to see me with someone other than Olivia."

"Yeah, right." - Louis said sarcastically.

Ms.Lane opened the door - "Oh, Ava and Louis, is everything alright?" - she asked.

"Yes,its just that we heard that tomorrow were supposed to go on a boat ride. Is that correct?" - Louis looked worried.

"It is. I was actually going to talk to you, Ava. If you want to stay at the hotel, thats okay. I don't want to bring back your trauma." - Ms.Lane knew what happened to my mom. I was so lucky to have her as my teacher.

"I'll stay with her, Miss." - Louis quickly said. - "If you don't mind, of course." - he ran his hand through his hair, embarrassed.

"Well, Mr.Partridge, do you have something on your mind?" - Ms.Lane joked with him.

"No, ahah, I just thought it would be nice if I stayed with her and had a look around the city maybe." - he blushed.

Aw, he was concerned about leaving me alone, how cute of him.
"That would be amazing, if we could go, of course." - I said, trying to convince Ms.Lane to let him stay with me.
