Chapter Two

My eyes open and my vision is blurred.

I'm awaken by loud noises. Whatever happened to beauty sleep? Anyways I hear Mrs.Goldberg's voice.

She is a sweet old lady and she taught me ballet since I was 5.

--wait- ballet?--

Crap.

This is my last Thursday here and I have pointe class. I throw on a leotard and tights and toss my pointe shoes in my bag. I hear Mrs.Goldberg speaking again. I guess the guilt is all in my head now. What will she think of me?

I grab my bag from the floor and pull my phone off of the charger. I race down the stairs and if it wasn't for the fact that it was a spiral staircase, I would have jumped down. Rich people problems.

I reach the bottom of the steps and to my surprise, there is everyone. Mrs.Goldberg, Mia, Leanna, Rachel, Tatianna, Kaitlyn, Alana and even Tiara. All of my dance friends are here and its my last day here. It all feels perfect.

-Raven's Mom-

I really wanted to surprise Raven because this was her last day in LA. Since it was a surprise party I didn't bother telling her about it. Everyone came on time and they started making small talk. We had some fun and everything was calm until Raven came crashing down like a maniac. Her hair was undone, her eyes were bloodshot and her shirt was inside out. She looked like Monday in the flesh.

Anyways since Raven is leaving, Marie, her maid, packed Ravens suitcases and hired her a bodyguard.

As scared as I am, I want her to see Dyce again and have a better bond. Dyce really needs someone who cares in her life either than an adult.

--hours later--
--Raven--

" Why did you guys get me presents?" I ask. Its nice and all but they are my friends and the fact that they have been in my life is more than enough for me. "We are gonna miss you, Rae." Alana says handing me a small box. My eyes widen with excitement as I see a Pandora box. "You didn't have to!" I scream but she motions me to keep opening it. Its a ballet shoe charm. My face drops a little since I didn't have a bracelet to put it on.

"Oops", Alana says " Tatianna was supposed to give her present first. Mine was a follow up." Alana blushes.

Tati gives me her present. "OMG THANKS TATI!" They were 24 karat gold earnings. I don't know how this has anything to do with the Pandora bracelet though. Alana blushes again. "Did I say Tati?" She asks " I meant Kaitlyn and Rachel" I face palm myself from Alana's stupidity but she was just trying to help.

Caitlin and Rachel both chipped in to get me a Pandora bracelet. I was so excited and I felt loved.

I know all my friends are rich, but it's the thought that counts.

I slowly move on to the next present. This one was from Mia. They were sequin Uggs and they were my favorite color - PINK! I thank her and hug her.

Since Leanna was Mrs.Goldberg's daughter, they had both gotten MD a new tutu. One was red and the other was baby pink. And of course Tiara got me 5 different tiaras. They were all so beautiful and I wanted my friends to stay for the night but they couldn't so they gave me one last box.

I reach inside of the box and pull out 8 beautiful and identical phone cases. Each girl takes one and put it on there phone so do I. But there's one left over. The girls tell me that it's For dyce and we already know how Dyce likes to be the different one but not in this case.(get it, case?!?)

I cancel my friends goodbye and they will leave. Now I'm left to finish packing up my accessories but there's no space on my arm for both Michael Kors bracelets I own there's only space for one watch and one bracelet. rich people problems.

I tried to get a good nights rest because I know that once I wake up I've got gotta rush to get on the airplane on time. My mother kisses me goodnight.
