Dyce POV
I couldn't just wake Raven up. I ended up staring at her while her nose twitched in her sleep.
Marie went back and forth loading bags into the limo. Marie and Raven's mom got into an argument about what color limo to take. Rich people problems.
She ended up choosing the black one with silver rings around it.
I'm looking at all of the suitcases and I stare in jealousy. I miss being rich. I miss living with Zoe and Raven. I miss my old house. NO I DONT.
My thoughts battle with my heart. I don't want to live where my parents were shot.

"Mom look! I got another hundred!" I squeal. Mom looks at me with approval with a faint smile on here face.
Her smile has been worn out for years. I can see bags under her eyes but I know she was tired. Tired of lies. Tired of responsibilities. Tired of stress.
"Can you do me a favor?" My mom asks. "YES, YES MOMMY I SURE CAN!" I yell. I was eager to help whenever I could. "Please feed your sister." I loved taking care of Zoe. She was only one and I was ten. I was turning eleven soon but k was still naive.
I picked up the spoon.
BANG--BANG--BANG
the door thuds. Mommy stands up to get it " Who the -----------" Mommy was hit with the gun but the mean man didn't shoot.
Daddy stands up. " Stay the hell away from my family!" He exclames. Three shots rang out The man shot my daddy.
We were in the corner crying as the man walked up to us. He shot mommy in the stomach. " Zoe, I love you." Mommy takes a breath. "Dyce,-----" She never finished her sentence.
He shot her too and as quickly as he came, he just left.

My eyes swell up in memory. I look down at my dazzling watch. Oh crap we are gonna be late!
I scoop up Raven and she instantly wakes up. "Hi Dyce!!" she says half asleep.
I wink at her stuffing her and her carry-on bag into the limo.
We say our goodbyes and we are on our way.
Once we arrive on the actual plane Raven fell back asleep. She looked so innocent. I wished she always looked that way.
I pop in my gum and plug up my ear buds. This was gonna be a long ride.
I hope you all like it. Please comment and tell your friends! DEDICATED TO RAVEN MICHELLE JOSEPH!!
