Chapter 29

King POV

Me and Kiara were eating and talking about when we first met.

"I really looked like a fucked boy to you though?" I asked eating the rest of my hasbrowns
"Yes you did. But I still thought you were cute. But I knew for sure you wasn't going to go for me because I was a big girl" Kiara said
"See that's where you got proved wrong at" I said
"I see" Kiara said drinking her tea
"So you don't have any silblings?" I asked
"No. I don't have any. My mom thought one child was enough so my mom never tried for another" Kiara said
"Wow. I knew it felt good getting all the attention though" I said
"No, I was actually lonely" Kiara said
"Damn" I said
"But it was cool getting anything I wanted" Kiara said
"I gotta another question" I said
"Let's hear it" Kiara said wiping her mouth
"Why you don't like the skin you in?" I asked
"Because I know that boys don't like bigger girls. I always got bullied when I was younger and until now. Bigger girls can't do things skinny girls can" Kiara said
"I know a lot of men that like plus size females. And you plus size not bigger. You must have been dealing with boys instead of men because thats some Lil boy shit. And plus size females can do anything that want  when they put their mind to it. You gotta believe in your self and stop worrying about other peoples opinions. They sure in hell ain't worried about yours. " I said

"Here's your check" She said sitting the check down
"Thank you" I said looking at it
"How much?" Kiara asked
"29.75" i said sitting it down
"Can we go half?" Kiara asked
"Nah I got it" I said
"You sure?" Kiara asked
"Yeah I got it. This ain't really nothing" I said
"Well I'm finished when you are" Kiara said
"You good? You gotta use the bathroom?" I asked
"Since you said that, I'll go ahead and go" Kiara said getting up
"Ima be paying while you using the bathroom " I said grabbing her phone and wallet

I got up and grabbed the ticket and then went to the cash register so I could pay. I paid and waited for Kiara to come out the bathroom. Kiara finally came out and we both exited the Waffle House. I unlocked the door and hopped in and so did Kiara.

"So where we going?" I asked
"Can we go look in the mall?" Kiara asked
"Wherever you wanna go" I said pulling out

Today was Kiara day because I knew she had been through a lot. And I knew she haven't really been happy. So anything she wanted or wanted to do was definitely on me. I headed to the mall and turned some music on.

"This my song" Kiara said turning
"Can't raise a man.. mmm" Kiara said singing

I chuckled and kept driving.

"He got older but never grew for his life he can't tell the truth" Kiara sung

I let Kiara sing the rest of the way to the mall.

15mins later...
We finally arrived at the mall. I parked the car and hopped out. I made sure Kiara was okay but she was in the car trying to grab something.

"What you doing?" I asked coming up behind her
"Grabbing my money" Kiara said
"No put that back" I said
"Why? You paid for lunch" Kiara said
"So. I'm paying for anything you want today" I said
"I can't let you do that" Kiara said
"You can and you will. Give me this and come on" I said throwing her wallet back into the car
"King!" Kiara said

I mushed Kiara head and my my way into the mall. Kiara wanted to go in Pink first so that's where we went.

"You like these?" Kierra asked holding up some panties
"They cool" I said
"You no help what so ever" Kiara said
"They cool" I said
"That's not helping me" Kiara said
"Ight Ima pick some I like" I said looking
"Get these, there & these" I said handing them to her
"Just these?" Kiara asked
"Yea then gone look sexy on you. But I gotta be able to see you in them" I said
"Boy" Kiara said walking towards the cash register
"So that's a no?" I asked chuckling
"Yep. I don't give in that easy" Kiara said
"I see that. That's what I like about you" I said

I like that Kiara was playing hard to get because it was showing me she wasn't an easy girl. Brittany was easy. I told her to do it and she did it. No disrespect to her but I just don't respect her as much as I do Kiara. Finally Kiara was next in line.

"How are you?" She asked
"Good what about you? " Kiara asked putting her stuff up there

The girl kept looking me up and down and smirking at me. I could tell Kiara was peeping it because her attitude started to change towards the girl.

"Okay your total is 74.93" She said

I gave her the money and she gave me my change back. Kiara took the bag and walked out. I had to wait on my receipt.

"Here you go" She said
"Appreciate it" I said
"I put my number on the receipt" She said
"Nah I'm good. I gotta go my girl out there waiting on me" I said chuckling and walking off

I couldn't stand disrespectful girls like the one I just talked to. She knew what she was doing. She just didn't care. I walked over to where Kiara was sitting.

"Had fun flirting with her? Let me guess she left her number for you also" Kiara said rolling her eyes
"Actually no. She did give me her number but I gave it right back because I told her my girl was waiting on me" I said
"You did?" Kiara asked
"Yep" I said chuckling
"I didn't expect that at all"Kiara said
"See that's what you get for thinking I'm tryna do you wrong" I said
"Sorry" Kiara said
"No need to apologize. Where else you tryna go?" I asked
"Fashion nova" Kiara said
"Let's go then" I said

I actually was surprised at myself for turning another girl down. I usually would've accepted it kept and pushing and wouldn't give a fuck about my girl feelings. But Kiara she was changing that.

Me and Kiara made our way towards Fashion Nova store. This was about to be a long day.
