Troublesome Women

Shikamarus pov

"alright gang watch me down this entire bowl of ramin!" naruto yelled as he picked up the bowl and drank from it while kiba and Lee cheered him on. We were all hanging out at the ramin shop (narutos choice) so I'm forced to watch this crap!

Neji wanted to stay with his cousin hinata since she was having a hard time so I was given him his space. After all no one likes an overbearing boyfriend. Unfortunately the bothersome women didn't see it that way.

"shikamaru why aren't you and neji not together? Did you two have a fight?" ino gasped.

"you said awful to him didn't you?" tenten glared at me.

"you better not hurt him shikamaru nejis a nice boy" sakura glared at me.

"we're not fighting you troublesome women. Neji just wants to be with hinata for a bit. I'm given him some space" that answer didn't seem to please them either.

"shikamaru are you crazy!" ino yelled "if you keep avoiding him like that he'll think you don't care about him"

"yeah shikamaru don't you know anything about love?" sakura scolded.

I was starting to get annoyed "I don't know anything about love? Really? Cause last time I checked I have a loving boyfriend and the boy you two have been yearning over has run away with Orochimaru!" I stormed off outside while the women continue to yell at me.

I sat down angrily. Bothersome women. How dare they judge my love life!

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me "are you ok shikamaru?" it was neji.

"yeah I'm just sick of women" I grumbled.

He giggled "well you better get used to them because I have two cousins who are women and if we're going to be a thing your going to have to like them"

"Well hinatas pretty ok" I muttered "don't know about hannabi though. She's kinda a loose cannon"

"yeah she is but you'll get used to her" he kissed me on the cheek.

"yeah. I guess I could try and tolerate women for your sake" I pulled him onto my knee and kissed him.

That's one thing those women don't understand. Me and neji love each other and we don't need to be around each other twenty-four seven to prove that.
