There was a knock at the door, but Gilgamesh did not look up from his file, unconsciously ignoring the visitor, too focused on his reading. He had been working for a few hours now, he had a look of strong concentration on his face and it was at the moment of the second knock that he blinked, becoming aware of reality.

"Come in!"

The door slowly opened, revealing Arthur's familiar, calm face in the opening. The boy glanced inside, checking to see if he was intruding. When he saw Gilgamesh alone working, he smiled to himself and entered the office, without making too much noise. It was not uncommon for him to arrive while the professor was busy, so he took care to be discreet, taking one last look down the hallway to make sure they were alone, then began to close the door behind him, ready to lock it.

"You are late..."

The student was a little surprised, but he smiled even more, finding it ironic. "Good evening too." After closing the door, he slowly approached the desk, noticing that the professor still hadn't looked up at him. "I'm two minutes early." he affirmed as he came to lean against the desk, next to Gil and crossing his arms.

The professor smiled, when Arthur came to join him, he laid his eyes on him and enjoyed seeing his tender lover near him after such a long day. Arthur shared that look, as Gilgamesh got comfortable in his office chair and turned to face him so that their legs were in contact with each other. Taking advantage of this contact to gently caress the young man.

"This is a pity." The professor pointed out. "We had a great time last time."

Arthur seems suddenly embarrassed by this memory and smiles awkwardly before looking away for a moment, while Gilgamesh rests his face against the palm of his hand, admiring the view.

"How was your day?" The teacher asked, his leg caressing the student's calf more firmly.

"It was long and boring."

"Really? I thought you loved having classes with the great and flamboyant Professor Tiberius." The irony in his voice was false; he couldn't bear to know Arthur was so close to another teacher. A teacher who didn't hide his interest in her boyfriend. But Arthur had a bitter expression.

"If his classes weren't mandatory, I'd do without listening to his advice on repeat all day..." Arthur didn't like the way Professor Tiberius spent his time talking to him and approaching him like a wild animal. He didn't even understand why the professor was openly hitting on him in front of the entire class, but it never went any further. So the student simply tried to keep his distance. But trying wasn't enough to keep him from being approached in the hallways.

"You must be tired."

Arthur nodded in response, but Gilgamesh must have been more tired than he was. He glanced at the desk, looking at the file the professor had been studying earlier.

"Wait, are you studying Moriarty's case?" Arthur asked, suddenly intrigued and leaning over the desk.

The professor sighed. If it were up to him, he would gladly let Arthur read it, but it was a confidential matter and very few people knew the details. So, before the young man had time to read a single word, Gil reached out and closed the file in front of his eyes, a small, apologetic smile on Arthur's face as he watched.

"You will know more when the court makes it public."

Arthur did not hide his annoyance. Studying this kind of case was one of his passions and he could make enormous progress in law if he gave him the opportunity to read some investigation.

"Not even the Louvre investigation?"

Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow, not wiping out his smirk.

"Or Buckingham Palace ?" He asked hesitantly, not wanting to make the eyes of a beaten puppy to make him give in either.
