P.S. This is my very first time writing a story...
Sunlight shone faintly into the medicine den, I blinked once or twice before opening my eyes fully. Yawning, I stretched a bit and looked around.
Smokepaw was sleeping peacefully in his leafy nest, I turned and saw Berryheart (the medicine cat) asleep on Crowfur. To be honest, I thought Crowfur wasn't going to survive since his wounds were the most severe out of Smokepaw and I. Berryheart spent every waking moment caring for Crowfur until the bleeding stopped.

He lost a large patch of fur on his back, I felt bad for them both. I watched them for a few more moments before I got up, my head still hurts a bit but not as bad.
"Y/n?" Berryheart asked me sleepily as she got up and stretched "Where are you going y/n?" You glanced back "I needed some fresh air..... Hey, has Fangpelt returned?" Berryheart shook her head "I'm afraid not, Rockstar is going to send a patrol out before another snow storm comes" Crowfur turned a bit in his sleep as Berryheart rushed over to him to check out his wounds. I sighed and walked into the main cavern of the cave. I saw Rockstar sitting with Talonscar (brown and white tom) Cloudpaw (white long haired tom) and a few other warriors. And of course Lightningpelt, you studied him closely. He had a hint of concern in his eyes like they are going to find out something. I padded over to them, Rockstar looked up from his briefing with the warriors
"Y/n? Is there something you need?" "Yeah, could I join the patrol?" Rockstar looked you up and down with a raised eyebrow "Did Berryheart say your free for duty? "Y-yes" you lied, you didn't think Berryheart would care anyway since she's too busy with Crowfur. Rockstar nodded "Ok, I'll update you on what your patrol is doing-"
-Time skip- A/N: They are basically sending a patrol to look for Fangpelt the deputy of Mountainclan before another windstorm shows up again so without further ado, you may continue the story
Light grey clouds covered the sky sending a chill breeze through my (F/C) fur, my (E/C) eyes gazing into the distance as I tried to keep up with the patrol Smokepaw slowed to match his pace with mine. "This is very odd of Fangpelt to disappear like that" Smokepaw commented, I nodded my head "I know but I feel like somethings off about this" I almost whispered, Smokepaw agreed as we continue to follow the patrol to the last place Fangpelt was.
The brown and white tom turned to Smokepaw and eye, his yellow gaze soft but stern "Is this the last place you saw Fangpelt?" He asked. Smokepaw and I both nodded "Lightningpelt wanted to show him something and he followed him over that hill" Smokepaw pointed out. Talonscar sighed "Ok, follow me" me and Smokepaw along with a few other warriors climbed the hill, I was closer to Talonscar when I heard him inhale sharply, his body stiffened. I walked around him to see what he was staring at and I also stiffened..
