POV CHANGE: IWAIZUMI

The minute I finish my sentence, and look back to my empty arms, I see her fall onto the floor, her eyes fluttering shut.

"Y/n! Oh shit!" I fall down to her level, slowly picking up her head and assessing her face.

Colour has drained, and her hair seemed to be dampened over her forehead. Her face seems cold to the touch.

I raise her head slightly to the lit lights above. She's definitely out.

I hear footsteps scurrying out of the gym and into the hall. The rapid launch and crushes of the steps intensifying as they reach closer.

I look up to the ever changing silhouette closing in on me.

Hanamki's faces comes to light as he approaches me and Y/n, on the floor.

"What in the hell have you been doing?" His tone seems annoying and a bit on edge. He must've been looking for us for a bit.

"She just arrived from outside. Heard she fell and injured herself badly. She's out cold..." I respond, holding her tight and closer to me.

Her body's lost some of her temperature, her limbs and face cold. Even in her slumber, she shivers densely.

"Maybe we should take her to the nurse or maybe the hospital..." Hanamaki suggested, a slight rise in panic.

"She's fine. Just some deep cuts, nothing she can't handle." I state, trying to shut the possible outcome of the hospital down.

"Maybe she needs more medical atten—"

"She's fine!" My voice suddenly rises.

Hanamaki backs up from his position, taking note of my tighter and closed off hold on her.

He gets up and looks down to us once again, "is there something wrong with going to the hospital..."

It sounds dumb, and maybe a bit trivial, but yes. The thought of entering the hospital with her in my arms and her being the injured had a hard attachment to it.

That being that she had been there before with me.

But I wasn't the saviour.

I was the devil.

—FLASHBACK—

"Iwa! I can't believe you had to do that!" Oikawa's screechy and flustered voice yells as we run to catch the metro heading south to the hospital.

"If you had an annoying bitch around you all the time acting like your superior, wouldn't you do the same?" I ask, giving him a look as I run parallel to him. His expression doesn't change for what he has on now.

His beady and pretentious looks were now dubbed feared and agitated. He was clearly not amused.

Not when he had to watch himself.
