Chapter 1

We all die in the end.
I think as I just finish listening to some news on the radio in my car.
Here I am 18 years and on my way to college.
It's a calm cloudy day, with the rain starting to fall. I was almost to my campus until I saw a car pulled to the side and so I did what almost any normal person would do, I parked behind them.
"Hey! Need any help?" I asked.
I started to walk to the front of the car and saw the hood was open.
"Hello?" I asked again.
I then saw a head poke out from the side.
"Oh, sorry! It's just this stupid piece of junk just broke down on me." He said kicking his car.
I laughed.
"I would try and help but it's raining and dealing with electrical things and water don't really mix." I looked over at his engine. "Where are you going? I can drive you there." I smiled.
He let out a big sigh.
"You're like an angel or somethin, I'm actually heading towards the college, gotta unpack." He replied.
"Well, good thing we have the same destination." I smiled and opened my trunk.
It didn't take us too long to reallocate his things.
We both got into the car.
"This is a pretty nice car." He said looking around.
"Ya, my father got it for me." I replied again.
"Ohh~ so you're a trust fund kid." He laughed.
"W-what? No, I'm capable of living on my own." I probably said.
"When did you get your first job?" He asked.
"I was 12 years, my maid took me to other houses to help clean." I replied.
"Wow- even got yourself a maid." He said in awe
"Just ignored me." I said a little annoyed
"Oh, I just realized we haven't introduced ourselves!" He laughed. "I'm Ace, yours?"
"I'm Aiden, great to meet ya." I said.
"Likewise." He replied.
The rest of the time we just got to know each other.

We eventually made it to our dorms.
"Looks like we are next door neighbors." Ace said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Oh yay...." I smiled awkwardly.
"Thanks for helping! See you around." He then went into his dorm room.
I let out a sigh and went into my dorm room.
I looked around and saw that my dorm mate was already unpacked and was no where to be found.
I began to unpack my bedding first.
"Why hello roomie." I looked around and saw a boy with short blue hair with a Hawaiian themed outfit.
"Um, hello...nice look." I said looking him up and down.
He had a big grin on his face.
"Here I can help if you want!" He smiled,  sat down, and begin to unpack my things.
"Why ask if you're just gonna do it?" I ask.
"It's nicer that way." He replied.
"Anyway, what's your course?"
"I'm taking journalism, writing. You?" I said.
His eyes sparkled and I already knew the answer.
"We can be desk mates!" He said putting a photo on my desk.
"Yay, I'm so excited." I said I
Un-enthusiastically.
"It is almost 4:00 we should get some food! On me!" He smiled.
"Okay, fine, fine." I smiled as well, I can't say no to food.
We then started to walk to the food court.
"Oh the joy of going to a rich school." He laughed.
"You know what, I haven't even introduced myself!" He laughed. "Dylan nice to finally meet ya."
"Aiden, nice to put a face to a name." I smiled.
"Oooo theres Ace!!!" Dylan ran up to Ace and jumped on his back making him almost fall.
"Dylan! What the heck!" Ace laughed.
"I want you to meet my new friend/dorm mate!"
Ace looked over at me and smiled.
"Well, well, well, we meet again." Ace smiled.
"Yup." I smiled as well.
Dylan looked back and forth between both of us, he put his hand over his mouth, and chuckled.
I looked over at Dylan.
"What ya laughing about?" I asked.
"Oh nothing..." He said.
"Don't mind him, he's something else." Ace said.
"Welp, I have decided what we can get! Pretzels!" Dylan cheered.
"Okay." I replied.
We then proceeded to get the pretzel, but after we ordered Dylan pulled me and ran to a table.
Ace soon ran after.
"Gosh darnit Dylan! You always make me pay." Ace said flicking his forehead.
"Ah! Stop that! You gonna put an indentation in my head someday." He said rubbing his forehead.
I started laughing.

We finished eating our food and walked around the campus until it was night out.
"Welp, this is farewell!" Dylan silently shouted to Ace as we entered out dorm room.
"Did you have fun?" Dylan asked.
"Ya, but now I want to take a shower." I said yawning.
"Good idea, hurry I need to too." He replied sitting down on a bean bag chair.
I finally finished my shower and hopped into bed.
