PREACH HERE!!

| Serina's POV |

I lead them through the forest, figuratively knowing the routes pretty well. We dodged the branches, me almost tripping over one in the process. The groans in the background, still hearable from miles away. It can't end like this.. I thought, tears brimming my eyes.

We ran for what felt like hours, only stopping for a few seconds. We still heard the walkers, some running right behind us... Who knew they had the brains to live. We lost track of the noises, the only sound hearable was my weezing from running.

"So.. What now..?" Tanner asked, seeming clueless. I gave him an annoyed stare, frustrated with his stupid question.

"We keep running!" I stated, my voice raising kind of scaring everyone, since I never raise my voice. We did what I said, ran until we were all out of breath, starving. We walked, soon finding a little cabin in the middle.. Of nowhere. We went in, no sign of walkers.

"So, we need to rest. Everyone I'll watch.." I said, getting a glare from Tanner.

"I'll watch, Serinna." He said sternly. I growled in response, my fist clenched from sudden anger.

"Listen, Tanner. I'd rather not someone come here... and YOU tell them no one else is here, and leave. I'll guard.. NOW GO!" I yelled back, Tanner losing the argument. What was with this sudden argument, I listened behind me. They sorted out the rooms..

"Here, use this as a weapon.. Best I could find," Nathan said, handing me a chainsaw.

"You shouldn't trust me with this, you know Nathan?" I asked, giggling listening to the sounds as I turned it on. He snickered, smiling then walking off.. Man I loved that smile, could light up a whole room! Wait... WHAT? WHAT DID I JUST SAY, IN MY THOUGHTS!? My mind raced, this 'Nathan' boy, or my new friend, really was getting into my thoughts more often then I wanted him too. My mind drifted awake, me leaning against the post of the wooden porch. This wasn't as bad as I thought, I mean the apocalypse could get worse.. I sighed, seeing  walkers in the distance, not close enough though.

"Damn walkers.." I sighed under my breath, feeling the cold wind of the night sky. It was cloudly, just as I thought that it started raining... Until I heard yelling, and seeing an old-ish man approach.

"HELP! PLEASE!" He screamed, I walked out from the post helping the man up onto the porch.

"Who are you?" I asked, sitting in the chair next to him.

"Zachary. Zachary Clark!" He chuckled, putting his hand out for me to shake. I shaked it, leading him inside.. WAIT! Clark? Nathan.. I had a feeling this was his grandfather.

"Do you know a guy named, Nathan Clark? By any chance..?" I asked, waiting to open to the entrance, leading into the cabin.

"Yes, he is my grandson. Haven't seen him since, well since I told him to run.." He said, tears brimming his eyes.

"Well, just follow me.." I said, smiling at him. We walked inside, everyone sitting in the living room.

"Everyone, meet Nathan's grandpa. Zachary Clark!" I said, smiling at them, Nathan shot up running over to Zachary, hugging him tightly. He pulled back, happy tears in his eyes.

"I thought you died! I'm so happy, thank you Serina!" Nathan said, hugging me as well. I smiled, pink appearing on my cheeks.

"Well, nice to meet you sir!" Tanner smiled, walking up, and shaking his hand.

We all said our hellos, going into our seperate rooms, I shared with Ella. I walked to my bed, not bothering to change. I slipped under the rugged covers, drifting off to my ow wonderland, no place like this. No running, no hell. We didn't run in hell when I was dreaming.. Ever.
