After everything that had happened between Sonic, Monokuma and Shuichi, Kokichi had started to notice Sonic more. Whenever he saw Sonic, he got butterflies in his stomach and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. It hurt that Kokichi couldn't have Sonic, the blue hedgehog was too good for him. Or so he thought...
"Hey S-Sonic!" Kokichi cursed himself for the stutter. Pull yourself together, Ouma. "Hey Kokichi!" Sonic said, smiling. Kokichi felt his stomach do a somersault. He's so cute.. "Uh .. I was wondering if maybe you want to go to the arcade with me later?" "Oh, sure!" Kokichi grinned. "Alright! Does five sound good.?" "Yeah, i'm free then. See you at five!" Kokichi went back to his room and squealed like a teenage girl fawning over a cute boy. Maybe Sonic would think of it as a date?
At 4:30, Kokichi started getting ready. He decided to just keep wearing his normal clothes, after all, he didn't know if this was a date or not. He got to the arcade a few minutes late, and saw Sonic waiting for him. "Hey Sonic!" he called out. Sonic smiled. "Hi Kokichi!" Sonic grabbed Kokichi's hand and they walked into the arcade. Kokichi took a sharp intake of breath. His crush was holding his hand!
They stayed until the arcade closed. Sonic walked Kokichi back to his dorm. "I-I had a lot of fun tonight," he said. Kokichi smiled. "Me too .." I should tell him.. "Uh .. there's something I wanna tell you .." Sonic said. Does he have a crush? Kokichi's heart sank, his smile faltered, but he tried to keep looking happy. "Oh, I actually had something I wanted to tell you too .. You can go first .." he said. Sonic shut his eyes and took a deep breath. "Kokichi ... I'm in love with you." Kokichi's eyes went wide. "R-Really?" "Yeah ... sorry," "No! Don't apologize, I-I'm in love with you too." It felt good to get it off of his chest. "So are we like ... a thing now?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, if you want to be." "Yeah, I do." "Now we can go on double dates with Shuichi and Monokuma!" Kokichi smiled. I guess I really am good enough for Sonic. ..
