"We just got news, Hatice Sultan gave birth to twins, a son and a daughter," Rosie said making me jump up from the couch.
"Prepare the carriage, I will be going immediately to her palace" I ordered. I couldn't be happier for Hatice, she deserved a lot especially after losing two children in a row.
"I want to come too" Ayse shuffled off the couch and took a hold of my dress. I chuckled and crouched down to her level.
"Maybe next time, dear" I kissed her forehead before signaling for Zeynep to take Ayse to the other room. I stood up and walked over to the mirror. I checked my appearance then left the room. Rosie was waiting for me at the doors of the harem and handed me a headscarf to put on along with a coat to protect me from the harsh cold.
The ride to Hatice's palace was filled with excitement over the new additions t the family. I and Rosie were trying to guess the names of the newborns the entire way, what could Suleiman name them. Rosie helped me down the carriage. We walked into the Palace and the maids immediately showed us to Hatice Sultan's room. It seemed that I and Hürrem arrived only minutes apart from each other. I bowed to Suleiman, The Valide Sultan, and Hatice Sultan before taking my place beside Hürrem. Suleiman took the newborn baby girl and said the adan in her ear before whispering her name. Then did the same with her brother.
"Your name will be Huricihan"
"Your name will be Osman"
After the naming Suleiman took the present he had brought for Hatice from Hürrem before sitting down beside Hatice on the bed. I looked at Hatice with a smile knowing how over the moon she must feel about the birth of her new children.

"May my god show you no more sorrow and sadness," Suleiman said a dua as he clasped a ruby bracelet around Hatice's wrist. She smiled softly at him and whispered an 'Amen'. Suleiman pulled her closer and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Suleiman because of something associated with his work and the Valide left for the Palace because she felt tired. I gifted Hatice with a necklace in the shape of a sun symboling that the sun has risen in her world with the birth of her children. Hürrem kneeled in front of the two cribs and wrapped two pieces of gold on the bed with the words of Allah engraved in them to protect the children from anything bad. I can see Mahidevran scoff as we placed our grifts but decided to ignore her to not ruin this beautiful day.
"May Allah let them grow up with both their mother and their father, my Pasha" Hürrem said looking between Ibrahim and Hatice. Me and her both knew that she and I wished for Ibrahim to drop dead this instant but, we were both actually happy for Hatice.
"Congratulation, may Allah give them a long life," I said grinning at Hatice who grinned back with a small blush on her cheeks. She was liking all of this attention on her, I mean who wouldn't.
"May your happy family be blessed" Hürrem continued. We smiled at each other knowing that in a way we just finished each other's sentences. Both Hatice and Ibrahim said 'Amen' but, Ibrahim's sounded more sarcastic than genuine in my opinion.
