Three weeks later

Part 1- introduction

Johnny and shell we parents to three children. Mollie who was 14 just in her first year of secondary she was the oldest. Then the middle child Alex who was 9, such a brainy young man he had the cutest little glasses and loved school. Finally the youngest kitty she was just a 1 year old.
The family of 5 was a very lets just say unhealthy family. The children had to look after them selfs after there parents started drinking about 8 years ago and since then the oldest Mollie has had to take control of the youngest two siblings.
Before johnny and shell started drinking after Alex was born they were the best parents to Mollie and she had a great start to life.
Things just started to downturn.
When Mollie was about 6 they started drinking so never the less her having to take care of herself she also had the responsibility of taking care of her younger brother but he was an easy kid thankfully and helped make things easier for her. Then years later their parents announced that they were having another child. Luckily the kids were older and both understood how to look after themselfs.
Through the pregnancy shell still continued to get drunk every. Single. Day.

The two oldest tryed to help talk to teachers at school they would get up and ready all by them selfs. With a clock that Alex made. But the children knew if there dared to tell a teacher or anyone perhaps, that they would get beat. Badly.
As there life continued they tryed there hardest to adapt to the abusive environment. Sometimes to get food they had to steal it from the market on the way back from school. A few times they have been caught and the police took them both home.
But when they got home. {God i dont even want to think about it}. But they would go to school the next day with bruises all over them.
As soon as kitty was born they had another responsibility as going to school and looking after her and if they diddnt...
Well i think you can pretty much guess what happened. There neighbour knew the exact situation the children were in and wanted to help but also diddnt want to be the reason they had to split up. The eldest had to stay up on a night with kitty. Once she needed food for kitty so Alex the middle child stuck out in the middle of the night to milk a cow
For some milk. That's how bad it was.

When there parents went to the nightclubs thankfully Mary who lived next stood feed them all till their chests were full of food. Weekends were the worst and holidays as they had no food unless there parents left overs which they had to share inbetween them. When Shelly and johnny stayed out overnight Mary the neighbor would let them stay over and always offer to look after the kids but the parents refused.
