AU: you get your soulmate mark after both you and your partner use your quirk for the first time. This is KatlnnRotatos description of it, I asked if I could use their au before making this btw.
Shoto's POV

I yawn as I wake up, I should probably train today so I can keep doing well enough that my father doesn't nag at me about it. I'll ask Aizawa if I can use a training ground. It's the weekend so there's nothing better to do, unless I want to go home like most of the others did. I'd hang out with my group if they hadn't gone home.
Though Bakugo stayed behind, I think. He's probably looking to train too, maybe he can train with me.
I get up and fix my hair then go to his dorm. I knock on his door. I can him groan and then he opens the door.
"Hello, do you wanna train with me?" He gives me half-lidded eyes, "whatever. I guess I'll fucking train with you." I smile and he looks away with a scowl. "You should get ready though. You're still in your pajamas."
