Angela X Roy: The Beginning

**This takes place after Everybody Hates Tom**

After Tom gets chased out of town, Roy, Angela, Ben, Hank, and Ginger walked back to the garage. They were disappointed in Tom for the terrible thing he did, but they didn't have time to worry about him; they were getting ready for the company's next invention: The Fun-glasses!

"Great job, Ben! It looks like our new invention is a real hit!" said Roy, with energy. "They were your brilliant idea after all. I just made them a reality," said Ben with a smile. They both chuckled.

Everyone had already moved on from what happened the day prior: Tom betraying everyone's trust. It was great. Well, kinda... Roy spotted Angela sitting alone upstairs. Roy went upstairs to talk to Angela. "You OK?" asked Roy, a little sad. "Yeah, I'm fine... I'm just a little sad about what happened with Tom..." Angela said as she started to cry a little. Roy put his hand over Angela's shoulder. "Yeah, he was a bit of a jerk... I wish there was something that could be done." Angela looks at Roy, a little bit more upset. "My feelings for Tom... Do they even exist...? I don't think I can go out with him any longer...

"I'm done thinking about Tom. I don't trust him anymore!" Angela said as she raised her voice a little, almost shouting. "Whoa! Calm down, Angela. Just take a deep breath and relax." Roy was hoping that no one else in the room heard Angela, but it seemed as though no one noticed anything. Roy has always had a little crush on Angela and stealing her away from Tom had always been his ultimate goal. This was his chance.

"I'm throwing a party later tonight for the company. Wanna come?" Roy asked, as he winked at Angela. "Sure," Angela said, as she giggled a little. "It's time for me to forget about Tom."

Roy really liked that giggle. He knew that his brilliant plan to make Angela gain interest in him had already begun.

**Party Begins**

"Wow! The whole town is here, celebrating our Fun-glasses!" Ben said excitedly. Roy opens up a bottle of soda. "Yeah. Who'd miss the opportunity to party with the top team of tech?"

Pretty much the whole town was invited to this party—all except Tom. He was nowhere in sight, but that did not matter, as Roy was ready to take the next step.

Roy walks over to Angela with a bottle of soda and an empty glass cup. "Want a glass?" Roy asked. Angela was excited. "Yes, please!" Angela drinks her glass.

"This party is going really well, Roy. I haven't felt this good in a long time," she said. "I almost forgot about how sad I was a few days ago with To—"

Roy interrupted Angela with a cough. "If you bring up what happened a few days ago, you'll start to feel sad again," Angela stood there as Roy was talking. "You gotta enjoy yourself here." Angela smiled at Roy, and then walked away.

Angela walked over to Becca, who was talking to Hank.

"So are you considering entering the dance con—" Angela walks in, interrupting Becca. "Hey, Becca. Hey Hank. How's it going?" Becca and Hank both look at Angela while drinking soda. "Things are great, Angela. Hank and I are an item now."

"Hey, that's great! I'm happy for you!" Angela said in an enthusiastic voice. "What about you, Angela?" Hank asked, curiously. "Yeah, I'm...all right..." Angela looked a little down. Hank and Becca could tell that something was bothering Angela. To lighten up the mood, Becca decided to bring up the dance contest that she was gonna mention to Hank.

"Hey, Angela. I heard there's a dance contest in an hour's time." Angela looks up. "You can dance with any person and the winning pair gets free fun-glasses and a ton of good memories! Heh, but really, it's just for fun." Angela thought about it. "Sure... I'll consider entering..."
